Harrison Ford pulls gun on bloodied Ryan Gosling while Jared Leto is shown for first time in official trailer for Blade Runner 2049
The official trailer for Blade Runner 2049 was released by Warner Bros. on Monday.
The dark clip features Harrison Ford confronting a bloodied Ryan Gosling with a gun in the harrowing landscape of a dystopian future.
Jared Leto is featured as well as he is shown towering over a naked human and whispering: 'Happy birthday.'

The trailer opens with a spaceship flying by a neon Atari sign.
Then Gosling is seen walking down a hallway where human figures are kept in glass cases.
Leto is heard saying 'Every civilization was built off the back of a disposable war force,' as a figure falls through a clear tube and lands on the ground.
He is shown with no pupils as he continues: 'But i can only make so many.' He then cradles the slime covered figure in his hands.

She is shown through a rain soaked window and continues: 'The world is built on a wall that separates kinds. Tell either side there's no wall... you've bought a war.'
Gosling is then seen touching the cheek of a mysterious woman as they seem to go in for a kiss.

Meanwhile, Ford, Gosling, Villeneuve sat down at the Blade Runner 2049 Facebook Live Q&A at IMAX Headquarters in Playa Vista, CA on Monday.
It was reported that Ford was excited to join in the sequel as long as there was an emotional aspect to bringing back Deckard.
'There's a very strong emotional context and the relationship between the character Deckard that I play and other characters, I found fascinating,' he said.

'It's interesting to develop a character after a period of time … it was a very gratifying experience,' he continued.
Ford also said a big part of his love for the movie was working with Gosling. 'Ryan brings a real, original emotional intelligence.'
'I’d always be asking if Harrison would be happy or not,' Gosling said. 'And I wasn’t quite sure in my mind what he thought, and then when he arrived, it was such a relief, because he just rolled up his sleeves and got right to work.'
The director Villeneuve said: 'We are still exploring the themes of memories and empathy. That's the deeper tissues of where the movie evolves. What the movie's about in relationship of what it means to be human.'
Sony’s Columbia Pictures will release the film from Alcon Entertainment and Scott Free Productions on October 6.
