Ivanka Trump's world is black and white — or, at least, her outfit was on Tuesday morning.
The 35-year-old First Daughter stepped out of her Washington, D.C. home this morning in a perfectly posh two-tone ensemble.
While she looked polished in a black and white polka-dot sheath dress by J.Crew, Ivanka didn't seem to have a smile to spare for photographers as she walked out her front gate to a waiting car to start her day.

Ivanka Trump looked super chic sporting a monochrome ensemble to work.
Wearing a polka dot sheath dress from J.Crew, she teamed it with a whipstitch white tote and black heeled sandals from her eponymous line.
We love this All-American brand on Ivanka since it's very attainable to all. The cut is figure flattering, professional and the patterned brocade is whimsical. It's a knock out number to add to your working woman wardrobe since you it works Monday through Friday styled like Ivanka or on the weekends, just pair this with some wedge espadrilles and a cloth New Yorker bag.
The polka dot print is a timeless classic that never goes out of fashion. Follow the link on the right to get it now, or get the look for less below and complete her look with the same heels!
The 35-year-old's hair was done up in an elegant chignon
The short walk from Ivanka's front door to the car has become the former model's personal catwalk, and Tuesday was no different as she dressed to impress for waiting photographers.
Matching her $178 dress, the mother-of-three wore black pointed-toe pumps and a white purse with black piping from her own line, which she relinquished control of earlier this year.
Her blond hair was pulled back in an elegant chignon, possibly the work of Ivanka's personal glam squad — though the hair and beauty team was not seem leaving her house this morning.
Ivanka's husband, 36-year-old Jared Kushner, was also seen leaving the house in a navy suit.
Ivanka is scheduled to host a military appreciation event with the Vice President later today
She will be co-hosting with him, the Second Lady, and National Security Advisor H.R. McMaster
Her husband Jared Kushner, 36, was also seen leaving the family home in a navy suit
Ivanka seemed dressed up for a busy day ahead of her, which includes co-hosting an event with Vice President Mike Pence and Second Lady Karen Pence, as well as National Security Advisor H.R. McMaster.
The foursome will be welcoming military families in a celebration of National Military Appreciation Month and National Military Spouse Appreciation Day.
In fact, Ivanka's entire week will be quite busy. According to Politico, she will be going on a 'listening tour' for the next two weeks, meeting with White House department heads and cabinet officials.
Today's meetings includes ones with EPA administrator Scott Pruitt and Sen. Lisa Murkowski (R-Alaska), with the aim of deciding whether or not to abandon the Paris climate treaty.
Packed calendar: Yesterday, she joined her father in the Oval Office to meet with leaders of the biomedical community
Winding down: After work, she checked out the Yayoi Kusama art exhibit at the Hirshhorn Museum and Sculpture Garden, which typically has very long lines
Yesterday, she also joined her father in the Oval Office to speak with leaders of the biomedical community 'for a discussion on America's important role in biomedical research and technology'.
Despite a jam-packed work schedule — for an advisory position for which she is unpaid — Ivanka has still found time to unwind this week.
After a weekend getaway with her family, on Monday Ivanka enjoyed the Yayoi Kusama art exhibit at the Hirshhorn Museum and Sculpture Garden.
The traveling exhibit has also hit New York City and Los Angeles, where stars like Adele have flocked to see it.
