Conrad Hilton unleashed a homophobic and racist tirade at police while he was being arrested for allegedly stealing a car and violating an ex-girlfriend's restraining order early Saturday morning in Los Angeles.
Police say the 23-year-old Hilton Hotel heir was arrested shortly before 5am Saturday at a home in the Hollywood Hills.
He was said to be in a Bentley owned by his ex-girlfriend's father and was subsequently arrested for grand theft auto.
A bail of $60,000 was set, and the Hilton family are said to be considering making sure there are conditions as part of his release that force Conrad to seek hospital treatment for his issues.

Daily's daughter, actress Hunter Daily Salomon, 21, said on Saturday she was deeply concerned about the mental health of her former boyfriend.
'It can be scary,' she said, when TMZ asked whether she was afraid Conrad might try and come after her again. 'Because I don't think he's well in the head right now, so I don't know what a person can do when they are not mentally there.
'If he was mentally there, it would be OK but I don't know where he is at in his head.'
Salomon added that nothing she could say could help her ex at the moment, after the site caught up with her while she was shopping with sister Tyson Daily at Fred Segal in Los Angeles on Saturday.
The site claimed earlier that night, Conrad went to Hunter's father Rick Salomon's house and 'stole his Bentley'.
He was charged with grand theft auto, with bail set at $60,000.
Poker player Rick - E.G.'s ex-husband - was also Paris Hilton's co-star in her 2003 sex tape.
Hunter took the restraining order against Conrad in May 2015 after they split; he allegedly tried to break into her house a month after that as well.
On Saturday, TMZ caught up with E.G. Daily to talk about the incident at her home, which she said she feels 'terrible' but that Conrad's erratic behavior has 'been going at it for a long time.'
'He was going through a hard time... so I didn't want it to be a big deal, which is why sometimes I didn't call the police,' explained the actress, 'I didn't want to make it an ordeal because to me it's just a matter of somebody's just not doing well.'

To EG, trouble with the law felt like the opposite of the help Conrad needs, saying, 'Jail is not for people with something going on in their head... It's not for somebody who needs help.'
She also revealed that she's been in touch with Conrad's parents and her main goal is everyone's safety.
Last June the troubled hotel heir was sentenced to two months in prison for violating the conditions of his parole.
He admitted in court that he had used drugs repeatedly while on probation, Us Weekly reported at the time, reportedly weeping as the sentence was read out.
'The underlying allegations that he admitted as being true concerned repeated drug use while on probation, including marijuana, synthetic cannabiniods and cocaine as well,' U.S. Assistant Attorney Alexander Scwab Schwab told the publication.
He was freed from prison on August 1, 2016.
In August of 2014, Conrad was arrested following an incident aboard an international flight during which he hurled profanities and made threats against fellow passengers.
'I am going to f***ing kill you!...I will f***ing own anyone on this flight... they are f***ing peasants,' Conrad shouted, according to court documents obtained by People.
During the flight Hilton also was accused of smoking weed in the bathroom of the plane. He became so erratic the flight crew had to restrain him to his seat after he had passed out.
Conrad pleaded guilty and at the sentencing received three years of probation, 750 hours of community service, and was ordered to participate in an outpatient substance abuse program including drug testing, and mandatory mental health evaluations.
The son of Kathy and Rick Hilton was again arrested in June 2015 on suspicion of violating a restraining order obtained by his former girlfriend Hunter Daily Salomon, the daughter of E.G. Daily and Rick Salomon (Pamela Anderson's ex).
