Date night! Bachelor Nick Viall and Vanessa Grimaldi snuggle up to one another at the MTV Movie & TV Awards

They have just made the move to Tinsel Town permanent so hitting the red carpet is about to become just another regular excuse for romance.

Nick Viall and Vanessa Grimaldi looked as happy as always as they arrived at the very soggy MTV Movie & TV Awards.

With rain and even hail coming down, the newly engaged pair posed up inside on the hastily relocated red carpet in Los Angeles on Sunday night.

Nick kept a firm grasp of his fiancee as they smiled for pictures and even inside could not help but snuggle in close to her.

For the award, the 36-year-old wore a low key look of black jeans with a blue and purple checked shirt and a leather jacket.

His 29-year-old love wore a long black off the shoulder dress which was cinched in at the waist with a leather wrap belt.

The accessory served to highlight the Canadian teacher's figure.

The couple stepped out after Vanessa spoke about making the move to Los Angeles, despite her family being very vocal during The Bachelor about her not moving from her native Canada.

She told E! Online: 'I was, and my family was, very supportive of the idea of moving.

'I'm still bringing and carrying on my work from home with me. I'm still planning on teaching. I'm still planning on being part of that life that I had in Montreal.

'It was a decision we both made together and we're both very happy about that decision. Both of our families are very happy that we're together and we're starting our life together.'
