They have just made the move to Tinsel Town permanent so hitting the red carpet is about to become just another regular excuse for romance.

Nick Viall and Vanessa Grimaldi looked as happy as always as they arrived at the very soggy MTV Movie & TV Awards.

With rain and even hail coming down, the newly engaged pair posed up inside on the hastily relocated red carpet in Los Angeles on Sunday night.

The couple stepped out after Vanessa spoke about making the move to Los Angeles, despite her family being very vocal during The Bachelor about her not moving from her native Canada.

She told E! Online: 'I was, and my family was, very supportive of the idea of moving.

'I'm still bringing and carrying on my work from home with me. I'm still planning on teaching. I'm still planning on being part of that life that I had in Montreal.

'It was a decision we both made together and we're both very happy about that decision. Both of our families are very happy that we're together and we're starting our life together.'
