Brightening their day! Kylie Jenner and Kris melt hearts as they visit families at hospital in Peru for Smile Train

Kylie Jenner and her mother Kris helped brighten up the day of families at a hospital in Lima, Peru on Tuesday.  

The reality stars posed for photographs with various fans at the medical facility. 

Kylie, 19, and her mother, 61, had stopped by the hospital on behalf of Smile Train, a non-profit organization that provides free surgeries to repair the cleft lip or palete of children living in developing countries.

A Smile Train ambassador, it's an organization that clearly holds a special place in Kylie's heart.   

Kylie and her mother looked truly touched to be spending some time with families at the hospital. 

The stars gushed over a young child who slumbered in a woman's arms. 

Last year Kylie announced she had developed a limited edition shade for her Lip Kit specifically for the organization.

A hundred percent of net profits from the shade, called Smile, were donated to the charity. 

It raised nearly half a million dollars in it's two runs, according to People.

Smile Train CEO Susannah Schaefer raved about Kylie's generosity when speaking with the website.

'Kylie has a beautiful smile herself, yet we were most impressed with her selflessness, huge heart and extremely generous giving spirit.

'Everyone here at Smile Train, and all of the cleft children around the world that she has helped, couldn’t be more grateful.'
