MTV's Rob And Big star Christopher 'Big Black' Boykin dies of suspected heart attack at 45

Reality television personality Christopher 'Big Black' Boykin has died of a suspected heart attack.

The 45-year-old starred in the hit MTV show Rob And Big star for three seasons from 2006 until 2008.

He appeared on the show alongside his professional skateboarder best friend Rob Dyrdek, whom he also served as a bodyguard.

According to TMZ, no official cause of death has been ascertained, but friends of media personality believe it was a heart attack.

Dyrdek shared an image of his friend holding his baby son on Twitter and wrote: 'My heart is broken. I don't want write this post. I don't want to believe that this is reality. I am so thankful for you.

'We truly were brothers that lived an unexpected unforgettable adventure. I just can't fathom that it would end so suddenly. You will forever be in my heart.'

Christopher also appeared on the skateboarder and actor's show Fantasy Factory for four seasons, from 2011 until 2015.

Despite their closeness, the pair had fallen out for a period while recording their original TV show, where they would go on seemingly random adventures. 

Before they reconciled he accused the skateboarder of having a 'total ego problem,' and that claimed his friend's attitude towards him changed when he 'got big' and had 'a little money in his pocket.'

Among their escapades they attempted to break world records, had their home exorcised and even installed and Drydek would indulge his love of using a net gun to 'capture' people. 

The reality television personality is survived by his nine-year-old daughter Isis.

While he is best known for his turns on the small screen, Christopher previously served in the United States Navy
