Ryan Seacrest has moved from Los Angeles to New York City for his new job opposite Kelly Ripa on the morning chat show Live!

But he's not squeezing himself into a small bedroom, the way most Manhattanites do. Instead, the host - who is also up for a job on the American Idol reboot - is renting a luxurious 11,000 square foot modern-looking apartment that costs $75,000 a month. 

Images of the stunning dwelling, which is located in the Lenox Hill neighborhood of the Upper East Side, surfaced just after the 42-year-old was seen taking in a Broadway play with girlfriend, stunning blonde Shayna Taylor.

The 19th-century mansion has an ornate exterior but inside it's a different story.

The look is modern but subtle with mostly white and light beige used throughout with plenty of big, open spaces.

It also looks as if the blonde TV personality can fit in several guests visiting from Los Angeles because there are seven bedrooms and eight bathrooms on the six levels of the pad.

And throwing parties would be a breeze for the 5ft8in Georgia native as there is 3,000 square feet of what has been described as 'entertaining space.

Even the ceilings are extraordinarily high at over 12 feet.

The living room boasts three long windows that offer a nice view of the tree-lined street below. There is enough space for 10. 

The master bedroom is certainly roomy with space for a king-size bed and a desk. There is also a seating area and a fireplace (it is only one of six wood-burning fireplaces in the home).

And the bathrooms are as bright as they are spacious with white and marble features as well as an oversized bathtub in the master.

There is a high-speed elevator with 'energy efficient climate control and humidification.' 

'The interior has been renovated spectacularly in the last three years,' Nancy Aryeh at Douglas Elliman, who sold the property in 2015, said.

'It’s also a wonderful location.'

The 1879 Greek Revival home was bought by a developer in 2015 for $11.5 million. It was removed from the market in late April.

Michael K Chen Architecture architectural firm restructured the home. Designs from Italy and Scandinavia were used. 

'It was a very substantial construction project, we just finished it earlier this year,' said Michael Chen, CEO of the Michael K Chen Architecture architectural firm.

It's also made with 'locally sourced materials using local artisans' and is categorized as 'ecologically conscious,' according to listing copy. 

Seacrest announced that he will be spending five days a week in New York and jetting back to the West Coast every weekend. 

If he joins Idol, he may have to commute to Disney World in Florida where TMZ reported on Wednesday the new show may be filmed. It has also been added that Kelly Clarkson may become a judge for the competition show. 

Ripa asked him on Live about joining Idol to which he said: 'I don't know if I can host it. Do you know the preparation I have to do for [Live!] every night?'

She replied: 'Yes you can, you can! I know that you're busy in the mornings, I get it. I understand its hard doing double duty. You've got the radio show, you've got this. But your nights are free. You don't have that much to do,' she stated.
