Siobhán O'Grady

Siobhán O'Grady is a staff writer at Foreign Policy, where she runs the website's Passport blog and writes on U.S.-Africa relations. A two-time grant recipient from the International Women's Media Foundation, Siobhán has reported from South Sudan, Eastern Congo, and Sénégal, and lived in Morocco and Cameroon. Originally from Boston, she holds a dual degree in political science and French from Dickinson College and previously reported on border security, drug cartels, prison reform, and all things Ted Cruz for the Houston Chronicle's Washington, D.C. bureau. Her work has also appeared on WBUR and in the San Antonio Express, the San Francisco Chronicle, and others.
