She's proud to be the mother of two lovely boys and the daughter of a great mother.

And Naomi Watts let the world know it as she posted sweet snaps of her family in tribute for Mother's Day on Sunday.

The 48-year-old posted a childhood photo of herself between pics of her sons, Samuel and Alexander, and captioned it: 'The classic tomboy became the mother of these two. Lucky beyond words!'

In another post, she shows the hilariously cute pictures that her sons drew of her with the attached notes.

One stunning recreation depicts Naomi with rather small eyes while the other shows her having unnaturally large eyes.

The former picture has the attached note that reads: 'I hope you love your gift as much as I love you! P.S. that's almost impossible!'

The latter has the incredibly cute letter stating: 'You give me a place to sleep and a place to bathe, and i love you for that.'

In another post, Naomi shares a photo of her mom wearing a casual white ensemble with embroidery as she rocks a crown of sunflowers.

She captioned the snap: 'Happy Mother's Day to this Mum. The most creative, adventurous, and spirited woman I know... '

The Oscar nominee recently opened up about her recent split with Liev Schreiber in Vogue Australia for their June issue,

The feature saw the King Kong actress revealing that she and Schreiber are on good terms, following their split in September.

'He's a fantastic dad, a wonderful, wonderful man, and we still want the absolute best for each other,' Naomi told the publication.

During their 11-year union, the couple welcomed their two sons, Samuel Kai, eight, and Alexander Pete, nine.

'There are good days and bad days and Liev and I are on great terms and we're trying to do our absolute best for the sake of the children and we hope to keep moving forward in that way,' Naomi added.
