'I need a banger!' Spencer Pratt reveals plans for a 'flashy' name for his and Heidi Montag's baby... and why he will never let his son watch The Hills

He may soon be a dad, but this star is still just as extra as ever.

Spencer Pratt has revealed he plans to make sure his first child with Heidi Montag has the most celebrity name ever.

The 33-year-old sat down with Askmen.com and shared his fears, hopes and determination to make sure his child has more of a Hollywood moniker than Gwyneth Paltrow's daughter Apple.

The former Hills star said:  'We have a lot of names in mind. I plan on crowd sourcing on social media and maybe doing like an iPhone giveaway for whoever comes up with the name. I'm gonna give them an iPhone 8 or something because I need a banger name.

'Heidi has her favorite but I don't think we can commit this early in the game. I definitely want to be stunting on Gwyneth Paltrow - flashy, flashy name that isn't even in a Google search.'

The reality star wants his son to have a 'banger name' as he plans on having a making 'superstar' and will do so by getting his son doing as many activities as possible to find what he is best at.

'I'll try out everything from dance to chess to squash to fencing to hacking... I'll definitely let them try out everything they can and see what they're superb at. That's one thing that I feel like I didn't do - try more things.'

But Spencer said he does not want his little boy seeing how his mom and dad became stars with The Hills banned in his house.

'Hell no [I'll let my children watch]! They'd just lose brain cells. I'm trying to have really smart kids. With all due respect to Heidi and I, we cannot afford any less brain cells than they're already starting with at the gateway.'

If his son does get his hand on a few episodes, Spencer is not worried as The Hills is 'so hoaky'.

'If anything, I'll be more concerned if like, I'm A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here - that's where we lost the plot in the jungle. That's more something that's like, ''Whoa! Daddy was crazy in the jungle.''

While the dad-to-be was the same old crystal-loving over-the-top Spencer when he was talking names, deep down when it comes to his new addition he is a big softy.

The star revealed he passed out multiple times after seeing his little boy in during the ultrasound.

Giving his tips to other dads-to-be he said: 'Definitely when you go to the ultrasound appointment, don't be standing. I recommend sitting or lying down because there's a good chance you will faint.

'I've fainted twice now. So yeah, I would say don't think you're just going to be standing looking at the image like you're just watching Netflix.

'Heidi is a little nervous about me being in there after me fainting a couple of times, but if anything I'll probably be sitting in a wheelchair.'

While Heidi is making sure to be very prepared by reading books and studying up for the birth, Spencer says while he is 'over-the-moon' it is still 'terrifying to imagine' being a dad.

He told askmen.com: 'Honestly, I'm just so paranoid… I'm such a Nervous Nelly. I just want a healthy baby. There's too much wild stuff going down with babies. '

While at first Spencer admits to being focused on having a boy, he said after hearing about Jimmy Kimmel's baby's heart condition he is just praying for a healthy baby.

'Like, who cares about gender. I just want my baby to be healthy and have a strong heart. I'm past gender. I just want a healthy baby... Girl or boy, it would be off the hook. If it was a girl, we would have created a Ronda Rousey 2.0 but it's a boy, so he'll be the next Chris Pratt.'
