Ivanka Trump kept her megawatt smile hidden as she stepped out of her Washington D.C. home on Tuesday morning, amid the controversy surrounding her father sharing intelligence with Russian officials.

The 35-year-old had her lips pursed as she walked out of the side gate of her residence and made her way to the SUV waiting at the curb for her.

Although Ivanka looked deep in thought, her 36-year-old husband Jared Kushner had no problem flashing a smile towards the cameras that were outside their door before he headed to work.

Ivanka Trump was spotted leaving her Washington, DC home looking demure in a blue and white dress.

Covered in a floral print pattern, the ladylike frock had an on-trend cold shoulder design and was cinched at the waist with a black belt that highlighted Ivanka's slim figure.

Trump's tweets seemingly confirm what the Washington Post first reported Monday afternoon, which led to a number of White House and Trump administration officials releasing statements questioning the validity of the story.

Leading the pack was Trump's National Security Adviser H.R. McMaster, who told a pack of reporters Monday night, 'The story that came out tonight is false.'

Although it is shaping up to be a stressful week in the White House, the First Daughter spent the weekend celebrating Mother's Day with her husband and three children. 

Ivanka and Jared were spotted coming out of their home on Sunday with their three young children before piling into a car surrounded by Secret Service agents.

The mom took advantage of the weather in an off-the-shoulder white dress and flat gold sandals while carrying a denim jacket in her hand in case she got cold. 

Jared, who was dressed casually in jeans, a sweater, and a ball cap, hoisted a car seat carrying the couple's youngest child, Theodore, as they prepared to head out.

Although it was unclear where they were heading, it was later reported that they enjoyed brunch together at a restaurant in Georgetown

The Washington Post reported that the family enjoyed a leisurely Mother's Day brunch at Clyde's in Georgetown, and the couple ordered omelets.

Ivanka also paid tribute to her own mom Ivana Trump, sharing a throwback photo of her and her mother from when she was a child.

'Happy Mother's Day to my incredible mom, Ivana,' Ivanka wrote in the post. 'And to my children, thank you for giving me the gift of motherhood. You are my inspiration!'

Her father joined in on the Mother's Day well-wishes, paying tribute to Ivanka's stepmom Melania in a tweet, but he failed to mention his ex-wives Ivana and Marla Maples. 

'Wishing @FLOTUS Melania and all of the great mothers out there a wonderful day ahead with family and friends!' he wrote.
