DWTS duo Peta Murgatroyd and Maksim Chmerkovskiy will have baby Shai Aleksander involved in summer wedding ceremony

Dancing with the Stars beauty Peta Murgatroyd said she and fiance Maksim Chmerkovskiy will get their four-month-old son Shai Aleksander involved in their wedding ceremony this July at Oheka Castle in Long Island, New York.

'I think that he’s going to be carried down the aisle by a family member,' the 30-year-old New Zealand-born beauty told People. 'We broke tradition by having a baby before marriage, but I think it’s amazing that he’ll be there.'

'He’ll be there to watch us get married - and hopefully not cry!'

She said that due to the baby's young age, he doesn't quite have the hand-eye coordination yet to be a ring bearer.

'I don’t know how much he’s going to be able to hold them, but on a pillow or something - he might be able to do that by then,' Petra said.

Murgatroyd said that 'at some point, [Shai's] obviously going to have to take a nap,' and that a loud and raucous wedding reception wouldn't be the best place to do so.

'I would prefer that he wasn’t at the reception area because there are going to be way too many people and they’ll be drunk, running around being crazy,' the new mom said. 'I think it’s the best if he’s away from all that with the nanny for the night.'

Murgatroyd told the magazine that she cherishes the idea of a future walk down memory lane with Shai, when he's a bit older to fully appreciate it.

'I love that he’ll be able to look back at the photos and he’s in the photos and partaking in the sharing of our love for each other,' the veteran dance professional said. 'I can’t wait for that.'

She told the magazine that the castle where they're getting married lends a splendid backdrop to the array of professional photos, selfies and otherwise sure to be going down at the event.

'I wanted our photos to be spectacular and the grounds on this estate are just phenomenal,' she said, predicting 'some beautiful shots' as a result.

'Maks has loved this place for years and I took on the suggestion and I fell in love with it immediately,' she said, describing the venue as 'a whole castle estate with a golf course around it.'
