And Princess Beatrice's week of fun continued on Tuesday night with a trip to celebrity hangout Chiltern Firehouse in London.

Beatrice, 28, looked keen to slip under the radar with a head-to-toe black ensemble, teaming a simple vest top and skirt with a trendy biker jacket.

The Duke of York's eldest daughter, who is seventh in line to the throne, is currently pursuing a business career in the US but is believed to have travelled back to London for the wedding of Pippa Middleton this weekend.

The Duchess of Cambridge's younger sister will marry hedge fund manager James Matthews, 40, at St Mark's Church in Englefield, Berkshire, on Saturday, with Prince George and Princess Charlotte serving as page boy and flower girl.

While Kate, William and Harry have been confirmed on the guest list it's thought Beatrice and Eugenie may be making an appearance too.

Beatrice's low-key London visit this week suggests she could be conserving her energy ahead of the society wedding of the year.

The royal was among 500 women to complete the Lady Garden fun run in Hyde Park on Saturday, and dutifully posed for pictures alongside fellow runners after crossing the finish line.

A weekend of healthy pursuits was followed by a quiet catch up with her father Prince Andrew earlier this week.

Beatrice was seen leaving Harry's Bar in Mayfair - one of London's most exclusive venues - closely followed by the Duke of York on Monday night.

Beatrice, who is currently patron of nine charities including the York Musical Society and the Helen Arkell Dyslexia Centre, is said to be in the process of developing a business start-up since leaving her job at a Manhattan investment firm last summer.

The Princess, affectionately nicknamed Bea by friends, said at the time she was keen to pursue her 'entrepreneurial ambitions'.

According to her CV on LinkedIn, she is currently Vice President of Partnerships & Strategy at Afiniti.com, a Washington DC-based computer software company.

After leaving university Beatrice worked between September 2011 and January 2012 as a 'research associate' for her mother's charity Children In Crisis.

She moved to investment firm Cabot Square Capital in February 2012 but quit 16 months later.
