Real Housewives of New Jersey star Dina Manzo was beaten and bound by robbers in a violent home invasion over the weekend.

The star and her millionaire businessman boyfriend Dave Cantin were terrorized by the burglars who they discovered at his three-bedroom house in Holmdel, New Jersey, on Saturday night.

The pair had been at Dina's goddaughter Audriana's First Communion when they arrived home at around 11pm.

They were confronted by the men who punched Dina and beat Dave with a baseball bat before tying them up together.

After ransacking the three-bedroom property, the thieves fled with cash and jewelry.

Dina and Dave were then able to break free and call police.

Dina and her boyfriend arrived home to find two masked robbers already inside his three-bedroom house in Holmdel, New Jersey

The robbers punched Dina and beat Dave with a baseball bat before tying the pair up together and fleeing with jewelry and cash.

The couple's lawyer told DailyMail.com on Monday that they were 'shaken' by the frightening incident.

'Dina and David are obviously shaken up from the traumatic and violent home invasion and robbery. No one should ever have to go through what they did.

'They are grateful to law enforcement and the other emergency responders and appreciate everyone’s concern and well-wishes,' he said.

The couple had flown in for the weekend specifically to attend the First Communion on Saturday.

Audriana is the youngest daughter of Real Housewives veteran and convicted fraudsters Teresa and Joe Giudice.

Dina posted photographs from the special occasion on Instagram hours before the traumatizing robbery as did Teresa.

Dina, whose own teenage daughter lives in New York, appeared in seasons 1, 2 and 6 of the Bravo hit show and is the sister of straight-talking Housewives veteran Caroline Manzo.

The pair became stuck in a bitter feud as a result of their appearance on the show.

They attributed part of rift to Dina's friendship with Teresa. Police have not yet traced the robbers involved in Saturday's incident.

Dina, 46, remains close friends with Teresa (left together in 2014). She and her sister Caroline Manzo, who also appeared on the show, (right together in 2010) fell out over her friendship with the Giudices

The soft-spoken blonde was married to her sister Caroline's husband's brother, Tommy Manzo. They divorced last year.

She has a teenage daughter from a previous marriage.

Her romance with Cantin was revealed in 2015 before her divorce from her second husband was finalized.

Dina relocated to California last year to pursue a career there in event planning and interior design.

David, who friends described as her 'sugar daddy' despite him being eight years her junior, was reportedly footing the bill for her plush 90210 apartment. His Hyundai car dealership was based in New Jersey, keeping him there until it was sold in July 2015.

Dave and Dina split their time between his home in New Jersey and California. She relocated to Beverly Hills last year and the pair are also thought to have property in Malibu

He turned his hands to commercial brokerage afterwards and is now also a motivational speaker.

Dave credits his reality TV star girlfriend with nursing him back to health from leukemia.

The pair met through her charity, Project Ladybug. Neither of Cantin's two children from a previous marriage were in the house at the time of the robbery.

Dina's 21-year-old daughter, Lexi, lives in New York City. She was not with the couple at the time.
