No official word, but it's been rumored that Big Bang Theory star Johnny Galecki (who played Darlene's love interest David Healy) may also make an appearance.

The new Roseanne is being produced by the original series’ executive producers Tom Werner, Barr and Bruce Helford, according to Deadline.

Goodman and Gilbert staged a mini Roseanne revival in a video filmed during Goodman’s visit to CBS’ The Talk.

Gilbert, who co-hosts and executive produces The Talk, apparently spearheaded the revival, according to the site.

'Oh, hell yes… if we could get everyone together,' he said about a Roseanne reboot.

'The big ‘R’ (Roseanne Barr) and I did a pilot about five years ago that didn’t go anywhere…but we were very happy to work together.'

He is up for it? It has also been alleged that Johnny Galecki may also make an appearance

Gilbert said: 'I would. Your only fear is you don’t want to do a bad version, because you don’t want to damage what’s been done.'

Next month, May 20, 2017, marks the 20th anniversary of the Roseanne series finale.

The revival comes after it was reported Will & Grace is coming back with Debra Messing and Eric McCormack.

Roseanne's straight-to-series pickup will be ABC's lone multicamera comedy on its 2017-18 schedule, as it recently cancelled Last Man Standing and Dr. Ken.
