So it came as no surprise to see Rita Ora was prepared as she jetted into London from New York on Wednesday.

Having packed a spare pair of trousers for the journey, the 26-year-old singer ensured she would look effortlessly glamorous as she touched down.

The RIP hitmaker boarded her plane Stateside in a chunky blue fleece and red tracksuit bottoms, ensuring she'd stay comfortable yet stylish in trainers.

Wearing her hair in loose waves, she kept her carry on light, taking a small Miu Miu handbag onto the plane.

After landing in London, Rita switched into a pair of smart blue trousers that complemented her jumper and gave the look a more elegant vibe.

Rita will be spending more time in New York in the future after landing her latest hosting role on new ABC talent show Boy Band.

Rita – whose growing list of TV jobs already includes The Voice UK and The X Factor, as well as her doomed run on America’s Next Top Model – will join veteran pop stars Nick Carter and Emma Bunton in their quest to unearth raw young singing talent across the United States.

The 10-episode run will stick to a tried and tested talent show format as Backstreet Boy Nick and former Spice Girl Emma assemble a new band worthy of a potentially lucrative contract with Hollywood Records.

Rita's new role comes following her recent departure from America's Next Top Model in March, with Tyra Banks - who pioneered the show in 2003 - filling her shoes when it returns.

The BRIT-Award nominee has also been hard at work on Your Song - her first single from her upcoming new album.

The collaboration with Ed Sheeran is due for release at the end of the year and the blonde says it shows how much she has changed in the last six years.

She said: 'I wanted people to really hear my voice. I recorded my first album when I was 19.

'I started this when I was 25 so much has changed for me since then personally and professionally which has allowed me to develop as an artist.'
