And it seems like Liev Schreiber has moved on.

The 49-year-old enjoyed an intimate coffee date with Gerard Butler's ex Morgan Brown, 41, on Wednesday before the duo headed off on a PDA filled stroll in a Los Angeles neighborhood.

Morgan, a former model and interior designer, was last pictured with 300 star Butler, 47, on a dinner date in LA on March 30.

The pair had been dating on and off since 2014.

The Ray Donovan star was in a relationship with Australian actress Naomi for 11 years - although they never married.

They began dating in 2005 before announcing their split in September 2016.

Liev and Naomi are parents to two children: Alexander 'Sasha', nine, and Samuel Kai, eight.

On Wednesday, the actor and the pretty brunette, who was first identified on the New York Gossip Girl blog, had their arms around each other as they reveled in each other's company.

Liev gave a small smile as he appeared to place his hand on her backside.

Despite their very flirtatious display, a source close to Liev insists they have been friends for years and 'their relationship is platonic'. 

The X-Men Origins star kept it casual in sweats with a matching navy T-shirt, adding a hoodie tied around his waist.

Liev kept it low key in his sneakers, with a yellow baseball cap and sunglasses to round it out. 

Morgan highlighted her slim figure in skinny jeans with a white shirt and slouchy boots.

She wore her brunette locks down with her face makeup free, adding a pair of small framed sunglasses.

The stunning star sported a big grin while toting a patterned chainlink purse and hitting the pavement in nude pointed heels.

In the June issue of Vogue Australia, Naomi gushed about her ex and touched on why they chose to remain amicable.

The blonde beauty said 'he's a fantastic dad, a wonderful, wonderful man, and we still want the absolute best for each other.'

Naomi, who was born in England but raised partly in Australia, told the fashion magazine that she's 'single' and 'co-parenting.'

However not all is smooth sailing.

Naomi revealed to Vogue Australia that 'there are good days and bad days.'

Adding: 'Liev and I are on great terms and we're trying to do our absolute best for the sake of the children and hope to keep moving forward in that way.'
