Justin Theroux figured that lesson out the hard way on Tuesday night's episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live.

Prior to the show, Theroux had been told his Mercedes-Benz had been recalled and he thought he had to surrender the car back to the dealership.

To Justin's surprise, Kimmel actually had Theroux's wife Jennifer Aniston assist in getting his car to a shop that put a custom wrap on the vehicle.

Aniston is not seen in the clip, but Kimmel told Justin, 'Your wife Jennifer Aniston helped me out.

'That recall notice you got, there's nothing wrong with the car,' the talk show host explains as his guest laughed nervously.

As Theroux sat on the talk show's couch, he was shown video of his car getting a makeover to publicize his show The Leftovers.

'I feel like HBO could be doing a better job at promoting this for you, we had some experts adorn your car in a way that I think is going to bring you a lot of attention,' Kimmel explained.

One side of the car read 'for your Theroux consideration' and featured a shirtless photo of Justin.

The hood of the vehicle had another shirtless shot of the star with 'I'd eat these Leftovers' written on it.
