George W Bush seems to be enjoying his post-White House career, one goofy television appearance at a time.

Fox Sports Southwest's Emily Jones was reporting during a live broadcast of the Rangers vs Phillies game Wednesday night in Arlington when the former President strolled by. 

Drink in hand, he popped onto the screen to say 'hey' to the reporter and anyone watching.

President Bush was a managing partner for the Texas team in his first continuous role in the public eye before he became the state's governor and eventually the two-term president. 

He remains a loyal Rangers fan and is often spotted at games.

Just after he made his 'cameo,' social media went wild over the way that he casually crashed the Fox Sports report.

And Jones didn't seem to mind too much. She tweeted: 'My most favorite photobomb ever,' with a link to the moment.  

Thursday morning during her show, the former first daughter Jenna Bush commented on her dad's antics. 

'Every time I land [after a flight], I feel like my dad becomes another meme,' Jenna said, while laughing.

She also commented on her father's carefree nature lately regarding public appearances. 'I was like dad, at the inauguration, be at your best behavior, and there he is with the poncho. You can't take him anywhere,' she said.

'I actually texted him and said, "Dad, photobombed somebody?" and he goes, "What's a photobomb?" He had no idea, he was like "What do you mean, did it happen at a baseball game?"' she continued. 

The Texas rangers won their eighth consecutive game on Wednesday night, defeating the Philadelphia Phillies 9-3.
