'I lost my six pack!' Gymnast Simone Biles says her body shape changed during training for DWTS

She was the shock elimination from Monday's Dancing With The Stars semi-final, despite receiving TWO perfect scores from the judges. 

And Simon Biles, 20, said the trophy wasn't the only thing she lost during the series - she also lost her famous six pack. 

The Olympic gold-medalist told Us Weekly that her body shape has changed during training for the television dance competition.

She told them: 'It [her body] looks different than my gymnastics body because I haven’t been working out. Dance helps keep me in shape, but I’ve lost my six-pack. I’m not as toned. I think I just lost a little muscle definition.'

The star explained that she would have liked the mirrorball trophy as an addition to her already loaded trophy case but enjoyed just taking part.  

'I just wanted to learn more about myself through this competition. If I won, it’s cool. But if I didn’t, there’s still so much I can take away,' she told the publication.

The 4ft 8in gymnast told Us that she had enjoyed time away from her grueling gymnastic training schedule. 

'My life is just a little more freeing. I’ve gone indoor skydiving, cliff jumping and horseback riding. I’m eating whatever I want!' she exclaimed. 

She said that since being knocked out she can now chill out and take vacations.

'I’m going to take some time off and just relax. I’m going on two vacations, so I’m excited,' she told them.  

She revealed that she has grown in confidence throughout the experience. 

Simone told the publication that she had learned 'that I need to speak up more and that I can be hard on myself. I’m more confident in the gym because I’m in my element. I’m trying to find that same confidence outside.' 

Simone and her dance partner Sasha Farber, finished fourth in the series, which airs Mondays on ABC at 8 p.m. EST.
