Karlie Kloss demanded attention in a bright red gown as she headed to a meeting for her Koding With Klossy organization.

The 24-year-old model strutted her way down a New York street on Thursday and literally stopped traffic.

Despite being on a busy road, the catwalk star did not falter as she showed off her long red billowing dress.

The ankle length frock featured tiny buttons at the front which she left undone just above her knee creating a split to show off her famed gams.

The red dress had an unusual back which flashed some flesh, so Karlie made sure to do a little twirl for photographers.

Karlie's hair was tired back in no-fuss pony tail and she wore just a hint of makeup on her face.

Karlie has an organization called Koding With Klossy which encourages girls to learn to code - something the model learnt to do as she was fascinated with the power of computers and technology.

On Thursday the star held a meeting as the organisation is in the last few days of accepting scholarship applications.

After her meeting, the star popped home and change so she could indulge in a bit of retail therapy.

Loaded up on new purchases, the star said: 'Once a bag lady always a bag lady.'
