The ladies like him! Drew Barrymore and Kerry Washington pose with Broadway star Ben Platt after taking in his musical Dear Evan Hansen
It's had rave reviews and is up for nine statuettes at theater's Tony Awards on June 11.
And on Wednesday, a slew of stars caught a performance of the hit musical Dear Evan Hansen starring Ben Platt at Broadway's The Music Box Theater in New York.
The charge was lead by actresses Drew Barrymore and Kerry Washington who separately joined the star backstage.

Drew, 42, wore a camouflage jacket as she clasped the 23-year-old's hand.
Ben, who wore a white T-shirt and pale grey ripped jeans, wrapped his arm around her shoulder for a hug.
He was very lovey when Kerry Washington turned up backstage, also giving her a big hug.

The 40-year-old Scandal star wore a black leather jacket decorated with colorful flowers, a white T-shirt with the words 'Stay Woke' across the front and blue jeans ripped at the knees.
Scandal is one of creator Shonda Rhimes' productions and Kerry was joined by a host of her Shondaland stars.
They included Scandals' George Newbern, 52, Josh Malina, 51. and Scott Foley, 44; Jack Falahee, 28, of How To Get Away With Murder; and Shonda's go-to director Tom Verica, 53.

The musical had its world premiere at the Arena Stage in Washington, DC, in July 2015 before moving to Off-Broadway's Second Stage Theatre from March 2016 to May 2016.
It began previews at the Music Box last November. opening December 4.
It's due to play there until at least April 29, 2018.
