The actress, who starred alongside Tom Cruise as flight instructor Charlie Blackwood in the 1986 blockbuster, broke down as the court heard the 911 call in which a screaming McGillis told authorities she had found an intruder in her home.

During her testimony, McGillis told the court she was confronted by Dorn when she came home from a lecture. She said she first noticed her bathroom light was on as she pulled into the driveway and moments later realized her front door was unlocked.

She said she initially thought her daughter had come to visit but was quickly confronted by Dorn.

'A woman came down the hallway, very rapidly,' McGillis said in court, according to WLOS. 'She was yelling at me, 'How dare you keep me waiting'.'

'I was terrified.'

The pair allegedly then began to struggle over McGillis' cell phone, according to the actress.

'She said, 'You know who I am. You've been stalking me on my Twitter account'.'

McGillis told the court she had never met Dorn or made contact with her on social media.

'She attacked me again. All I could think of was to scream as loud as I could.'

A panicked McGillis, who managed to break free and call 911 from outside the home, could be heard in a 911 recording of the call telling the operation she didn't know who Dorn was.

The actress could be heard struggling to breathe and coughing heavily in the audio as she gave the details.

'She came out and just said a bunch of s**t about how I knew she was coming and how could could she do this to me, why don't I get her a hotel, I don't know,' McGillis said in the 911 call.

McGillis said Dorn claimed the Hollywood star had been stalking her on Twitter before the attack.

Prosecutors told the court that Dorn went to McGillis' home with the intention of harming her in June last year.

They said authorities later found two edited images of the actress on the alleged attacker's computer - one showed her face on a dartboard and the other on a 'Wanted Dead or Alive' poster, Fox Carolina reports.

Dorn was charged with second degree burglary, misdemeanor larceny, misdemeanor stalking, assault and battery, and interfering with emergency communications.
