Elsa Pataky debuted her new micro bob on Thursday. 

The 40-year-old Fast and Furious star shared a snap of her new hairstyle to Instagram after getting the chop in Los Angeles.

Pouting in the black and white snap, Elsa said she was 'changing looks'.

The Spanish actress and wife of Aussie hunk Chris Hemsworth, now has a blunt full fringe and her shorter hair is styled loose waves.

Elsa is married to Australian actor Chris and the pair share three children together.

They are parents to twin sons, Tristian and Sasha, three, and daughter India Rose, five.

The family are based in Byron Bay and Elsa and Chris often travel to the US for their work commitments.

Elsa recently spoke to OK! Magazine about her and Chris's new war film, Horse Soldiers. 

The blonde beauty said she didn't feel awkward shooting bedroom scenes.  

'We play husband and wife so it was like we weren't even playing. It was natural, it felt so comfortable,' she told the publication. 

'We were in bed together and usually with those scenes it is awkward but it was easy.' 

'It is a scene in bed, but not a sex scene... that would be too easy!' she quipped.
