Aisha Tyler divorce settlement calls for $2 million in spousal support over four years to ex-husband Jeff Tietjens

Aisha Tyler has been ordered to pay $2 million in spousal support to ex-husband Jeff Tietjens. 

The 46-year-old TV star as part of their divorce settlement will pay Tietjens $31,250 per month over the next four years plus an additional $500,000, according to an article Thursday by TMZ.

Tyler and Tietjens will split their other property with both getting half the proceeds from selling their house.

Tietjens will keep the 2012 Lexus while Tyler gets the 2013 Tesla.

The Talk co-host also will keep her companies BTDO Media and Hot Machine. 

Tyler and Tietjens were college sweethearts at Dartmouth College in Hanover, New Hampshire.

They married in 1992 and he filed for divorce in April 2016 citing irreconcilable differences following their separation in January 2015.

Tietjens in his initial divorce petition did not ask for spousal support, but indicated in court documents that he reserved the right to do so later.

Tyler had been candid about their inability to conceive.

She openly discussed their fertility issues in September 2013 during 'Secrets Week' on The Talk in which the hosts of the CBS chat show shared personal revelations.

Tyler revealed they had given up trying to have a baby after struggling for two years to conceive.

'We just decided it wasn't worth it to go through that and so we decided to stop. It was better to not go through that torture,' she admitted.

Tyler in addition to The Talk also is the host of the improvisational comedy show Whose Line Is It Anyway? on The CW.

She also voices Lana Kane on the FXX animated series Archer that will conclude its eighth season Wednesday.
