Earlier, pictures emerged showing Abedi lounging on the beach in Libya (circled, left) with friends and hanging out with his mates in Manchester as a teenager. There is no suggestion any of the people he was pictured with have been involved in any wrongdoing.

A military court in South Korea today sentenced an army captain to a suspended prison term of six months for having sex with a fellow male soldier. He was treated for shock following his conviction.

But now, in her third year, she has been thrown out of the academy and can no longer look forward to a police career. Her adoptive mother says the decision came after her police chiefs found out about her biological mother's neglect including her conviction for murder and Lyudmila's feral upbringing.
