Shannon had assault charges against him dropped two months ago after an incident at Adelaide strip club The Crazy Horse in January.

The Australian Idol runner-up explained he and his band went to the adult venue to escape drunk fans after a concert, before getting into a dispute with the manager.

He denied assaulting a club bouncer but later told The Daily Telegraph he was in the 'doghouse' with his wife Rochelle for a while afterwards.

Shannon recently said he had been working on improving his physique since the incident, hitting the gym six times a week.

Speaking on The Kyle And Jackie O Show, he also revealed he had put the events 'behind him' and is now less inclined to socialise after concerts.
