Foxy Lady! Delta Goodrem gets in the music zone with a Jimi Hendrix vest and heavily pierced ear

She's currently recording her fifth studio album.

And if Delta Goodrem's current look is anything to go by, we could be in for an interesting ride.

The 29-year-old's style has become increasingly changeable lately and the star appears to have really embraced a more rock n roll, edgier way of dressing.

Delta was spotted wearing a Jimi Hendrix T-shirt, red skinny jeans, black ankle boots and multiple earrings in her left ear as she filled up her Bentley sports car in LA this weekend.

With a long back top tied around her waist, the Australian singer appeared deep in thought as she headed to a Hollywood recording studio, where she is working on the new material.

Last month Delta posted footage of herself on Instagram dancing around the studio to her new music in such a way to suggest the album could have taken on an orchestral flavour.

As well as her music, Delta's look in general appears to have been steadily developing over the last year – with her even stepping in out in LA with vampire-esque black nails recently.

Enjoying life as a single girl is clearly giving her space to discover new sides to her personality.

Sounding strong and confident in an interview with Australia's InStyle magazine last month, she said: 'I go on dates but the culture is very different here [in LA]. For the first time in my life I can ask for what I want rather than have men choose me.’

She should have stayed on Neighbours as Nina Tucker.

Since when has Delta waited for men to choose her!? That gal has never been backward in coming forward to take whichever man she wanted regardless of whether he was already taken by another.

So last year it was the hippie Earth mother and now she wants to be seen as rocker/hipster. Seriously this girl is so desperate to make it in the US she will do, say, wear, date ANYTHING! She tries way too hard.
