'He's gonna need some sleeping pills!': Tilda Swinton has some words of advice for pal George Clooney now that he has twins with Amal

Tilda Swinton is longtime friends with George Clooney as they worked together on 2007’s Michael Clayton and went on to do 2008’s Burn After Reading and 2016's Hail, Caesar!

And now the 56-year-old actress has a few words of advice after the Oscar winner welcomed twins with wife Amal Clooney.

'He's gonna need some sleeping pills!' she told People at the NYC premiere of her Netflix show Okja on Thursday.

Tilda has twins herself, who are now aged nine: Xavier and Honor.

And in the past George used to make fun of her for struggling with two kids who are at the same age.

'I have twins myself,' Swinton told UsWeekly.

The ER vet and wife Amal Clooney welcomed a baby boy and girl on Tuesday, June 6.

'This morning Amal and George welcomed Ella and Alexander Clooney into their lives. Ella, Alexander and Amal are all healthy, happy and doing fine,' a rep for the actor said in a statement.

'George is sedated and should recover in a few days.'

His father Nick Clooney said the twins are 'gorgeous' and have dark hair.

'[My wife] Nina swears they have George’s nose,' he told Cincinnati's WXIX on Tuesday. 'Not both of them, one of them. The little boy looked like he had his nose. His little profile.'

He added to People: 'Amal looked great. George looked more harried than she did. They were both very active!”

And Amal's mother Baria Alamuddin told People on Friday: 'Seeing these two angels, these stunningly beautiful babies…cuddled together, and seeing the joy on Amal and George’s faces, it’s one of those deeply felt beautiful feelings you can’t express in words.

She now feels like the 'most blessed human being on earth.'

'Oh my god, Amal and George were so beautiful, they were so happy, so contented,' she said.

'You just look at them and you feel like they’ve been a mother and father for their whole lives.'
