She had been in a relationship with beau Daniel Elliott for over a year. 

But Louisa Johnson has revealed she is now single again, after splitting with her beau recently - despite having moved in with him. 

The Best Behaviour singer, 19, confirmed her break up while speaking backstage at Capital FM's Summertime Ball with Vodafone held at Wembley Stadium on Saturday.

In an awkward exchange, Louisa was asked about living with Daniel, but she shot down conversation by replying: 'We're no longer together.' 

The starlet gave no further details about the couple's break up.

She and Daniel initially began dating when she first started out in the music industry as a contestant on The X Factor. 

Louisa had won the 12th series of the ITV talent show in 2015, with her and Daniel's relationship causing controversy, as she had begun dating him just weeks after splitting from her ex-boyfriend Ellis Stevens to focus on her career.

She and Daniel had been together ever since and back in March, Louisa was caught gushing about her former flame live on air while appearing on This Morning. 

Holly had quizzed her about her relationship and whether her growing fame had affected it, but she insisted: 'It's perfect - I wouldn't change it for anything.

'We get along really well and he was with me before anything happened.

'I’m such a home girl. I love being at home with my family doing normal things and it keeps me grounded.'

Back in February, she had insisted the recruitment worker was 'The One' in an honest interview with The Sun. 

Louisa gushed: 'I would like to say so, definitely. We’ve got so much in common and let each other do whatever. He’s great, I love him.'

News she and Dan had moved in together first surfaced in June last year, with a source confirming to The Mirror at the time: 'They have their own place and they're very happy together.'

It came just ahead of Louisa's appearance at the Summertime Ball last year, where Daniel had been supporting her backstage. 

She had often shared several smitten posts with him on social media, but it appears Louisa has now deleted all traces of their romance from her Instagram page - including loved-up shots of the pair cuddling up together on holiday.

Speaking to MailOnline at the Summertime Ball, Louisa revealed that she wants to show a more 'sensitive' side to her through her music. 

She said: 'I think within myself, song-wise, I'd want to be more sensitive and show people how I really am. 

'I think that would be really nice for people to see because I am quite a fun person, but I think it would be nice to show a less fun side and a more sensitive one.'

She also addressed the criticism female performers can find themselves under for wearing scantily-clad stage outfits, but she insisted what she wears is 'just not important'. 

'Being yourself is what I try to be and I'll never change for anyone,' she claimed. 

'I think it's really important no matter who you are or where you come from or what you wear or how your hair looks. It's just important that you are you.

'People always start talking about outfits and stuff like that is just not important. 

'I think it's just who you are and who you want to be and how you are to people that's the main thing - it's not about the s**t in between.'
