'I have no time for Tinder': Eligible bachelor Niall Horan admits going solo has left him lacking a love life

He has 30million followers on Twitter, a legion of female admirers and a string of high profile exes.

But even as the music industry's most eligible Irish bachelor, Niall Horan, 23, has revealed his hectic lifestyle leaves him little time for new romance.

Speaking to Notion magazine, the former boyband heartthrob shed light on how his solo career has changed his love life, since One Direction went on hiatus.

Niall Horan spoke to Notion magazine recently about his new life as a solo artist and landed himself a cover issue.

Niall looked great in the shoot wearing a pyjama-style shirt from Sandro in a navy blue hue.

'I've been so busy between studios,' he explained. 'The album was long days, as we were recording everything live full band.'

'We' re talking 11-12 hour days, every day which is like work, studio, home, bed, eat, you know - I have no time for Tinder!'

The candid confession follows a string of famous flames, most notably a brief fling with Selena Gomez, which eventually fizzled out after a few dinner dates in 2014.

But always the gent, Niall remains great friends with Selena and the pair still stay in touch today.

Niall was also linked to British musician Ellie Goulding, which prompted many to speculate about Ed Sheeran's hit Don't that was written about an inter-industry love triangle.

He is also said to have had an on-again/of-again relationship with Victoria Secret model Barbara Palvin.

In a wide ranging interview, Niall also discussed his hopes for a lifelong career in the music industry like some of his heroes.

He said: 'That's the goal: to be able to do this for years and years and to be still producing good stuff - that would be great.

'I've always been a big Bob Dylan fan, and that's longevity at its finest. Him and Eric Clapton, that's the ultimate for anybody who makes music.'

And once he's completed his career in his old age, the Irish fashion icon admits he wants to take his fashionable look with him to the grave.

Explaining what he wanted to die in, Niall said: 'I'd want to be in a Paul Smith three-piece suit, with polka-dot socks and brown monk shoes.

'And a pair of these glasses of course. And with David Beckham's hairstyle.'

Earlier this week, the One Direction singer flirted up a storm with presenter Lorraine Kelly when he made an appearance on the star's morning show.

During the interview he opened up about the adult lyrics in his new single, admitting: 'I thought I'd finished the album last November/December, then I had a thought in January that I wasn't and I went back into the studio and I wrote Slow Hands in February.'

'It was kind of like a last minute addition to the album. Very sexual, Lorraine… I didn't want to say that in front of you, but I've said it now.'

Far from being embarrassed, Lorraine was delighted with the way the conversation had turned, telling Niall: 'That's a good thing. Sex is one of the wonderful things in life, it is!'

The singer also went on to insist that 'there's room for everyone' when it comes to his fellow One Direction boys' solo careers.

He added: 'We are enjoying it all, everyone else thinks that we’re rivals! It would be weird if we were all releasing the same kind of music, but we’re not,' he pointed it out.
