He rarely shares a glimpse of his family life with the public.

Yet, Gary Barlow, 46, treated his loyal fans to a rare a snap with his brood and wife Dawn on Instagram on Monday in belated celebration of Father's Day.  

The Take That star opted to honour the special day with a sepia filtered selfie of him smiling alongside his other half and children Daniel, 16, Emily, 15, and Daisy, eight.

Grinning from ear-to-ear, the former X Factor judge - who enjoyed a break from his Wonderland UK tour - donned a white tee while he held the camera away from his face, wearing a pair of on-trend reflective shades for their family affair.

The couple's son Daniel stood tall in the background as he bore an uncanny resemblance to his musician father, wrapping his arm around his former dancer mother.

Garnering 12,000 likes, he simply captioning the snap: 'Happy Father's Day #family'.

After putting the picture on the photo-sharing platform, Gary's fans flooded the comments section with nothing but well wishes and compliments for his darling family, while many couldn't get over how much his son looked like him.

One follower shared: 'Gorgeous! Omg Daniel is so alike you! Why don't you take him as take that number 4?? Can he sing as good as you??'

'Your son looks like he can start his own boyband,' another posted. 'Omg daniel is the spit of you'.

While a fan echoed many follower's sentiments with: 'Lovely family photo, you must be a very proud man'. 

'Beautiful photo Gary. So happy you got to spend time with your family, where does the time go, your bairns are growing up quick, you have a gorgeous family.'

The couple have been through many ups and downs throughout their time together after their fourth child Poppy, was tragically stillborn in 2012. 

Speaking on ITV's An Evening With Take That in March, the singer revealed that he would love to renew in the near future. 

He said: 'I’d like to renew my wedding vows with my amazing wife. That’s ­definitely on the agenda'.

In May, he debut his newly peroxide blond locks on the opening night of Take That's Wonderland tour.

And he later admitted he dyed his tresses the eye-catching colour as his trademark 'do is thinning out'.  

The bleach blond starlet revealed the candid news in a hilarious segment with Good Morning Britain, when entertainment reporter Ross King question his new hairstyle: 'something had changed!'

Unable to contain his laughter, Gary answered: 'It's departing so quickly, I thought for the last time, I'm going blonde.' 

Despite appearing thrilled with his new look, his wife Dawn Andrews may not be as keen.

Speaking to The Sun, he admitted: 'I did say to her, 'Do you really like my hair?' and she said, 'It's not the hair I've got the problem with, it's your mid-life crisis', and I was like, 'Thanks very much'.' 

And delving further into his makeover, he added: 'Vinyl's back and I thought, 'You know what? I'm taking it back to '92.' It was '92 since I was blond and I thought, 'It's Wonderland. I can't just walk on-stage with me old hairdo,' so I've gone blond for this tour.'
