The Global Leadership Program is for students from four Jesuit universities in East Asia; Ateneo de Manila University in The Philippines, Fu Jen Catholic University in Taiwan, Sogang University in South Korea, and Sophia University in Japan, which share the common catholic sprit.
The aim of the program is to foster future global leaders in modern society through group discussion, fieldwork and presentations on the common theme of the program: "How to cope with social inequities?" Active participation is a central part of this program.
The 1st Global Leadership Program was hosted by Sophia University in 2008, and this program will be hosted in rotation by other 3 Jesuit institutions above; Sogang University in 2009, Ateneo de Manila University in 2010, and Fu Jen Catholic University in 2011.
