With girlfriend Meghan Markle thousands of miles away in Canada, Prince Harry was happy to live up to his party-loving persona at the weekend.

Dressed casually in trainers and a baseball cap, Harry knocked back beer and took selfies with a glamorous blonde at a music gig.

The prince, 32, was at The Killers concert in London’s Hyde Park with close friend and ‘wing-man’ Thomas van Straubenzee and stockbroker Adam Bidwell. But Canadian actress Miss Markle, 35, needn’t worry.

There was no sign of the Prince's girlfriend of a year, the US actress Meghan Markle 

The blonde is thought to be Alexandria Jackson, a film producer based in Los Angeles who has been dating property agent Mr van Straubenzee for the past 12 months. 

An onlooker said: ‘Harry was clearly in high spirits. He was laughing and joking with his mates and clearly enjoying the gig.’

Speculation has been mounting around the increasingly serious nature of Harry and Miss Markle’s relationship, with insiders predicting an engagement next year. Last week she reportedly tried on a variety of wedding gowns during a shopping trip in Toronto.

Despite being separated from Meghan, the Prince appeared to be in high spirits, tucking into bottles of beer and snapping selfies with friends, including a glamorous blonde.

He wore a baseball cap and shades to attend the gig at Hyde Park, close to his Kensington Palace home, but there was still no mistaking his face in the crowd. 

It isn't the first time the Prince has been spotted at a Killers gig - the royal is understood to be a fan of the band.

Indeed he looked thrilled to be taking in the music, smiling and joking with friends as they performed.  

According to the Prince's biographer Katie Nicholl, Harry had a crush from afar on Meghan long before their relationship began, after spotting the glamorous brunette as Rachel Zane in the hit legal drama.

But after meeting in person at Soho House, the pair quickly became smitten in real life. 

Meghan is understood to have made herself at home at Nottingham Cottage, Harry's quarters at Kensington Palace, and she attended his birthday celebrations at Balmoral, and was on his arm at the wedding reception of Pippa Middleton, in a sure sign that she has been welcomed into the fold by the royal family.
