Blac Chyna is all smiles after being granted restraining order following claims Robert Kardashian punched her in front of her son and threatened to kill himself with a gun

  • Blac Chyna appeared in court on Monday morning with her lawyer Lisa Bloom and was granted a temporary restraining order against Rob Kardashian
  • Kardashain will still have joint custody of the couple's child Dream, who was with her father at the time of the hearing
  • Blac Chyna claimed in an interview with ABC News that aired on Monday that Kardashian physically abused her in April of this year
  • She also claimed in court papers filed on Monday that she is 'terrified' of Kardashian, who once threatened to kill himself with a gun
  • It was reported soon after that in December of last year, Blac Chyna choked Kardashian with a phone cord and destroyed $35k worth of property in his home
  • That incident was reportedly caught on surveillance video according to sources close to Rob

Blac Chyna was all smiles after being granted a temporary restraining order against her ex Rob Kardashian in court on Monday.

Her glowing look came came just a few hours after she appeared sedate and somber as she made her way into the courthouse just before 8:30am with her lawyer Lisa Bloom, who filed papers claiming that her client was 'terrified' of Kardashian.

That terror stems from an incident earlier this year when Kardashian allegedly threatened kill himself with a gun according to court documents.

The filing, which was obtained by DailyMail.com, also details the series of incidents that occurred on April 8, 2017, when Blac Chyna claims that Kardashian beat her in front of her 4-year-old son King and ripped a bedroom door of its hinges to continue his attack when she ran to hide.

Blac Chyna submitted both video and photographic evidence of this incident.

That attack happened at around the same time that King's father, Tyga, split with Kardashian's half-sister, Kylie Jenner, after thee years of dating.

This 'vicious' behavior is another reason Blac Chyna claims she is 'more afraid than ever' to be around her ex.

The 29-year-old said nothing as she was mobbed by reporters and members of the press both before and after the hearing, while Kardashian did not appear at the hearing.

Kardashian instead sent lawyer Robert Shapiro in his place, who famously worked with his late father on the OJ Simpson case.

The restraining order will be reexamined at the couple's next hearing in August, and Kardashian will maintain joint custody of the couple's daughter Dream.

TMZ reported that recently Kardashian has been caring for Dream four days a week and Chyna has her for three.

Blac Chyna, flanked by her attorney Lisa Bloom and co-counsel Walter Mosley, spoke outside the court saying: 'This was a restraining order to protect Dream and I'm just gonna get back to co-parenting Dream.'

Civil rights attorney Bloom, said of the court hearing: 'I am please to announce that in court this morning we had a complete and total victory, the judge gave us everything we asked for which is a set of very strong and enforceable restraining orders against Rob Kardashian restraining him from coming near her and restraining him from cyberbullying, restraining him posting anything about her online of a personal nature including photos and videos.'

She added: 'As we have said all along revenge porn is a form of domestic abuse, it is also a crime in California and 38 other states and it is a civil wrong.'

Kardashian's attorney Robert Shapiro also spoke outside the court after the hearing on Monday, saying: 'We had a brief appearance in court, we agreed to stipulate to the temporary restraining order and all the conditions...our primary concern going forward is the health and welfare of the baby and we are going to work towards that goal.

'I personally on behalf of Rob Kardashian apologized and offered our regrets on what has taken place in the last couple of days.'

He added that Rob and his legal team is 'moving forward' to focus on 'one thing and one thing only, whatever is in the best interests of the child.'

Both Kardashian and his ex are being accused of assaulting one another over the course of their brief but tumultuous relationship.

Blac Chyna was accused of physically abusing Kardashian by sources close to the reality star earlier in the day, shortly after she made similar claims in her first interview since nude photos of her were posted online by her ex.

Surveillance video from inside Kardashian's home shows Blac Chyna strangling her ex with a iPhone cord, beating him with a metal rod and destroying $35,000 worth of property during an incident back in December sources tell TMZ

He is not the only one with video either, as Blac Chyna is also said to have photos and footage of Kardashian physically abusing her.

In an interview with ABC News, Blac Chyna claimed that Kardashian was abusive to her in April of this year, and that neither he or any member of his family has reached out to her in the wake of last week's incident.

The pair began dating in early 2016, with Chyna giving birth to daughter Dream late last year. They split this past December.

Blac Chyna said at the start of the interview that she felt 'betrayed' by her ex's actions last week, suggesting that she was in disbelief that someone who was once so close to her could do something so horrific.

'I was devastated, of course,' said Blac Chyna.

'I'm like, how could somebody post these pictures of me? And this is a person that I trusted.'

Blac Chyna and lawyer Lisa Bloom revealed to ABC News that they plan to go after Kardashian with the full extent of the law and are seeking a restraining order as they pursue revenge porn charges against the millionaire reality star.

When asked to respond to claims that she had just used her ex and his family for fame and fortune, a calm and collected Blac Chyna responded: 'I was already Blac Chyna before the Kardashians.'

Kardashian meanwhile reportedly has text messages in which Blac Chyna tells a friend explicitly that her ex would never hit her.

She was also asked about claims that she liked some of the photos Kardashian posted of her on Instagram, and responded by saying that she has her ex blocked on the social media platform and would not even be able to perform that action.

There was also the question of why she sent a video of herself kissing another man to her ex, which Kardashian said during his tirade had motivated his actions.

'You know, I've been broken up with Rob since December, and it's like if somebody keeps poking at you and poking at you and poking at you and keep poking at you, you're eventually going to pop,' said Blac Chyna.

'And so I was just like maybe if I send this video to him, then he'll just leave me alone.'

ABC News correspondent Linsey Davis at one point asked Blac Chyna where she 'drew the line,' suggesting that Kardashian's posting of nude images was somehow justified because she herself has posted 'semi-nude pictures' online.

'I'm going to draw the line of I am Angela White. I'm Blac Chyna,' she responded.

'I can do whatever I want. It's my body.'

Bloom also shot back at the question, telling Davis: 'Any explicit photos that she may have chosen to post in the past, that's her choice. This is like saying a woman can't be raped if she previously chose to have sex with someone.'

She then stated: 'It's her body. It's her choice. Each and every time.'

Blac Chyna made it clear during the interview that she did love Rob, but that the two were in no way reconciled or trying to get back together at the time of the incident.

Bloom also said during the interview that it was time for women put in situation's similar to her clients to stop being treated as if they were the ones who had done something wrong.

'I'm not asking victims to change their behavior. I'm asking perpetrators not to commit crimes,' said Blac Chyna.

'It is a crime to post pictures like this and if you do it, I hope that the full impact of the law rains done upon you.'

Blac Chyna responded on Wednesday to Kardashian's posts by stating that she was a victim of domestic abuse during her time with the reality star.

'Rob u did all this but u beat me up and try act it never happen !!!!! U put hand on me I swear on god !!!!! On my kids but I'm supposed to be quiet because you're a Kardashian,' she wrote in the post that has since been deleted.

Rob said that his ex's relationships with other men caused and warranted his actions on Wednesday, despite her claims that the two split last year.

No member of the Kardashian family has addressed Rob's actions or commented on the incident.
