That's no dad bod! Rob Lowe, 53, reveals toned physique as he paddleboards... after coming face-to-face with Bigfoot

Rob Lowe claims he barely escaped an encounter with Bigfoot in the Ozark Mountains.

But the 53-year-old looked like he had got over the encounter as he enjoyed a vacation in the Hawaiian surf on Monday.

The West Wing actor looked in amazing shape paddle boarding.

While he sported blue ombre board shorts, the father of two flexed his bulging biceps and used his core strength to balance on the unforgiving ocean.

Rob wore a concerned look on his face as he concentrated deeply attempting to keep both his feet on the paddle board.

After a hard day on the water, Rob smiled from ear to ear as he leaned against the paddle board that he turned over until needed again.

To celebrate the successful water sport outing, Rob took a lazy stroll down the beach with his pectoral muscles on full display.

The beach holiday comes after his experience with 'Big Foot', as recounted to Entertainment Weekly.

During filming his new series The Lowe Files in the Ozarks, the actor said an unknown entity - called a 'wood ape' by the locals - attacked his camp.

That is when Lowe dropped to the ground to hide from whatever was encroaching on their territory.

However, Lowe is saving the outcome of the freaky experience for the finale of his nine season series.

The Lowe Files starts on August 2 on A&E.
