Damsel in distress Priyanka Chopra gets rescued by Adam Devine while filming rom com in Central Park

Priyanka Chopra and Adam Devine were shooting their upcoming film Isn't It Romantic? in New York City on Tuesday - and her character got in a bit of a bind.

They were filming in Central Park, where at one point Adam was seen gripping Priyanka from behind in what appeared to be a stab at the Heimlich maneuver.

The pink cold-shoulder dress 34-year-old Priyanka had slid on featured a sloping V-neck that fell far enough to offer a generous view of the Quantico star's cleavage.

Cinched in at her enviably trim waistline, the dress complemented her lipstick and had a curved hem, and Priyanka had slipped on a nude pair of ankle-strap stilettos.

She'd also got a pale pink purse, which was set near a small vase of flowers on the powder blue alfresco table she was seen sitting at during one point on Tuesday. 

Meanwhile, 33-year-old Adam showed off his toned arms in a red, white and blue horizontally striped T-shirt he'd worn with faded jeans and a white pair of sneakers.

Isn't It Romantic? also features Rebel Wilson, Liam Hemsworth, GLOW actress Betty Gilpin and Bad Mom actress Eugenia Kuzmina, as the film's IMDb page has it.

Out Valentine's Day 2019, it follows a woman - played by Rebel, according to Deadline - who winds up getting plunged into the world of a romantic comedy.

It's being directed by Todd Strauss-Shulson, who's previously helmed the 2011 stoner comedy A Very Harold & Kumar 3D Christmas, the third film in its franchise.

Priyanka's recently portrayed the villainous Victoria Leeds in a comedy film version of Baywatch starring Dwayne Johnson, Zac Efron and Kelly Rohrbach.

She'd been seen this past Sunday filming a drama movie in New York called A Kid Like Jake, which is due out next year and also stars Claire Danes and Jim Parsons.

Adam's got a romantic comedy movie coming out this year called When We First Met in which he plays opposite Alexandra Daddario, as well as a fantasy comedy called Magic Camp out next year that also stars Gillian Jacobs and Jeffrey Tambor.
