Pregnant Nikki Reed showcases her blossoming bump as she plants a sweet kiss on husband Ian Somerhalder in California

She announced she was expecting her first baby with husband Ian Somerhalder in May.

And Nikki Reed looked radiant as she showcased her growing baby bump while stepping out with her handsome beau, 38, in Venice, California on Sunday.

The expectant mother, 29, looked effortlessly glowing in a pair of comfortable sandstone overalls which skimmed over her beautiful baby bump.

Showing their devotion to one another, the couple of three years held each other close as they walked down the street, with Nikki stopping to plant a sweet kiss on her husband's chest.

Keeping things relaxed for her day out, the Twilight actress slipped on wicker loafers and donned a ivory t-shirt.

A pair of azure aviators were tucked into the collar of her shirt. 

Looking bohemian chic, Nikki wore her caramel flecked hair down in loose flowing waves and accentuated her pretty features with a light dusting of make-up.

She toted a jade green handbag on her shoulder. 

Her Vampire Diaries husband looked protective as he placed a loving arm on Nikki's shoulder chivalrously carrying a shopping bag and what appeared to be a cold beer.

He put on a hunky display in a tight grey t-shirt which clung to his muscular frame, which he teamed with slate grey jeans and black loafers.

He added a rakish edge with a white panama and sported a distinguished beard.

The couple announced they were expanding their family with a sweet social media post in May.

Ian wrote a gushing message on Instagram, along with an adorable snap of himself kissing his wife's bump.

'In my 38 years on this earth I've never experienced anything more powerful and beautiful than this.

 'I can't think of anything more exciting than this next chapter and we wanted you to hear this from us first.

'This has been the most special time of our lives and we wanted to keep it between the three of us for as long as possible so we could enjoy this time with each other and our little one who is growing so fast...because that's what they do, they grow so fast.'

Nikki and Ian tied the knot in April 2015, in an exquisite wedding ceremony in Topanga Canyon in Malibu, California, before taking an idyllic honeymoon in Mexico, Brazil and Costa Rica.

They became engaged in January 2015 after a whirlwind six-month romance, their actual wedding coming after just being together for nine months.
