Rebel Wilson screams and waves her arms while filming dramatic scene for new romcom Isn't It Romantic

When it comes to causing a scene, Rebel Wilson is an expert.

On Monday, the actress was photographed screaming and yelling on the street in New York City.

Of course, as a professional actress, Rebel had good reason - she was filming her upcoming romcom, Isn't It Romantic.

Rebel was seen waving her arms and yelling about being stuck in a romantic comedy while dancers moved around her.

The Australian was snapped making angry gestures with her arms during the shoot at NYC's Bethesda Fountain in Central Park.

The 37-year-old was surrounded by dancers while her character griped about being trapped in a rom-com.

The male dancers were wearing brightly-colored and patterned T-shirts, while most of the women donned flowy dresses.

For the shoot, the blonde was dressed in a vibrant yellow outfit, featuring a long-sleeved, mesh top that was zipped up in the front.

The look was completed with a sparkly black midi skirt that boasted a flared hem and matching yellow pointed-toe flats.

The Pitch Perfect star was sporting her signature bangs, and her blonde locks were tied up in a top-knot.

The up-do stayed in place even while the clothing designer was nailing her physical comedy.

She was also photographed shooting a scene where she had to trip on the New York sidewalk.

The Torrid fashionista remained in the same outfit throughout filming, and was also seen shooting in that exact ensemble last week.

While she may have been acting enraged on set, Rebel was all smiles when the cameras stopped rolling.

On Monday, she took to Instagram to share a sweet snap with some of the film's crew.

'Lunch crew @isntitromanticmovie ! #CentralPark,' she penned.

In the movie, Rebel plays a cynical woman who suddenly finds out her life has become a romantic comedy, and winds up in the center of a love triangle.

Liam Hemsworth and Adam Devine also star in the flick, and will portray the Aussie's love interests.

The project is being helmed by Todd Strauss-Schulson, and the celeb documented her first day filming with her director, as well as Lucifer actor Tom Ellis, on Instagram last week, while sporting a hospital gown and holding a bouquet of flowers.

'Day 1 of Isnt It Romantic with our director @straussschulson who's crushing it and the gorgeous Tom Ellis x,' she captioned the selfie.
