She had also shared various photos via Instagram Stories that saw David reclining in the sun with an ice cold beverage in front of a sea of cakes - no doubt taking a break having spent some time decorating the tasty treats.
Across the shot of David, Victoria had wrote: 'Summer birthday parties!!! Happy birthday baby girl.'
She then went on to reveal that she and her spouse had been busy decorating biscuits for fellow guests, before playfully mocking David's efforts.
He had chosen to illustrate her on one piece of gingerbread, but Victoria joked that his skills had left her looking like comedian Dawn French instead - complete with the same blunt bob haircut and a monochrome outfit.

While David and Victoria had happily kept their Instagram followers updated throughout the day, they didn't appear to share any snaps of the birthday girl herself.

He also admitted he was apprehensive at the thought of Harper dating when she is older, joking that whoever she chooses to go out with can expect to have a lot of people to answer to.
'Well luckily, she's got three older brothers as well,' David teased. 'So once she starts dating, that person will have to go through an inspection with her brothers [and] her dad. It'll be tough.'
He continued with a more serious tone, as he said: 'Having children is the most special thing in the world.
'You don't love any of them more than any of the others. It's just different, you know. The boys are very protective over [Harper] and, obviously, so am I - as you can tell!'
