'Some couples can't stop having sex': Love Island bosses 'forced to cut some of Kem and Amber's TWELVE steamy love scenes to ensure viewers don't switch off dating show
This year's show has been dubbed more tame than previous series when it comes to the bedroom antics of the show's islanders.
But Love Island bosses have purposely chosen to cut down on the amount of steamy scenes they air - especially when it comes to one particular couple.
Islanders Kem Cetinay and Amber Davies have reportedly got hot and heavy a whopping 12 times on the dating series so far, but only three of their intimate sessions have been broadcast in a bid not to turn off viewers.

Hot 'n heavy: Love Island star Amber Davies has been seen having sex on camera with beau Kem Cetinay, but show bosses have been 'cutting their steamy scenes' in a bid to keep viewers
In the first few weeks of Love Island's current series, fans had commented that the islanders this time round appeared to be taking a slower approach when it comes to their blossoming relationships.
Viewers saw Gabby Allen tell boyfriend Marcel Somerville that she 'wasn't ready' to take their romance to the next level when they landed themselves with a night in the hideaway, and reserved Camilla Thurlow had seemed reluctant at first to let her guard down when it came to getting intimate in the villa.
But some couples have given in to temptation, with Dom Lever and Jess Shears being the first to have sex on the show, Kem and Amber closely following and Montana Brown now in the throes of a passionate fling with her new beau Alex Beattie.
Although, it appears Kem and Amber's sexual antics have become too much for show producers, forcing them to discard some of the scenes that have been filmed between them.
Saucy: According to reports, Amber and boyfriend Kem have had sex a whopping 12 times on the show so far
Cut: However, a source has claimed that only three of their love scenes have made it on air, as show bosses have purposely been cutting down on the sexual escapades of the villa
According to The Sun, they have purposely chosen not to air many of the couple's steamy scenes, as they are concerned viewers could become put off by Love Island.
A show insider claimed to the paper: 'Some couples can't stop having sex and are going at it almost every night.
'Producers are being ultra-careful not to let sex become the focus of the show, so have refrained from airing saucy scenes.'
They added: 'Countless sex sessions have been left on the cutting room floor over fears they could be seen to be sensationalising sex if it's on every night.'
MailOnline have contacted a representative for Love Island.

Approval? Amber's mum, meanwhile, has confessed that she watched her daughter having sex on the dating series and has no qualms about her racy behaviour
Sue Davies claimed: 'I had a bit of a smile on my face, it's what Love Island is all about isn't it?!'
The comments come after Amber's mum addressed her daughter's onscreen sexual escapades and insisted she is 'proud' of the dancer.
Sue Davies, 50, had told The Sun that she no qualms about Amber's raunchy behaviour that has been witnessed by the entire nation.
She said: 'I did watch them having sex... I had a bit of a smile on my face, it’s what Love Island is all about isn’t it?
'They are doing what is natural to them. They have probably forgotten that they’re on TV. We are very modern parents. Amber will do what she wants to do with or without us watching.'
Amber's mum added: 'They are doing what is natural to them... the moment can come at any time, you just have to go with those urges'
Drama: Despite their VERY saucy displays on the show, Kem and Amber have been rocked in recent episodes, as the pair have been forced apart by newcomer Georgia Harrsion
She then remarked: 'The moment can come at any time... you just have to go with your urges.'

During Friday night's re-coupling, Georgia had entered the villa and moments after was forced to choose one boy to couple up with, excluding new islanders Theo Campbell and Jamie Jewitt, as they were given the opportunity to pick which girl they wanted to move forward with.
Claiming she 'didn't need to play it safe', as she had just entered the villa and had no loyalties to anybody, Georgia chose to couple up with Kem - tearing him away from Amber - and claimed he is the boy she thinks she is most compatible with.

Her decision left Amber fuming and the brunette beauty lost her cool, as she snapped at Georgia 'not to speak to her' and said: 'That's my boyfriend. You're f**king rude. If anyone is a b***end, it's f**king you babe.'
On Sunday night's Love Island episode, viewers saw the drama that had occurred during the re-coupling play out, with Georgia insisting she hadn't known Kem and Amber had made their relationship official just days before.
Essex native Kem had asked his Love Island flame to be his girlfriend, with the two going on to profess their love for each other - following a previously tumultuous time together on the show.

Breaking down in tears while alone in the beach hut, Georgia said that Amber had made her feel 'uncomfortable' and she later went on to tell her co-star that she wasn't a threat to her relationship with Kem.
Despite Georgia reassuring her that she wouldn't try to pursue anything with her beau, Amber was left in tears at the situation.
She quipped that herself and the former TOWIE star will 'never be best friends', as Kem insisted that his relationship with Amber was solid.
Assuring her that she has nothing to worry about, the hairdresser said: 'Forget everyone else in here, we've fallen in love... all I want to do is protect you.'
Love Island continues at 9pm on ITV2.
