Three pregnancies in, Kourtney Kardashian knows a thing or two about maternity wear.

And, her first rule is - forget all rules.

The 35-year-old silently declared that pregnancy does not have to stand in the way of style as she stepped out in Calabasas, California, on Thursday.

While she may have looked read to pop, the reality star donned a very tight black mini dress which showed off her burgeoning belly.

Giving the outfit a hipster vibe, the Keeping Up With The Kardashians star wore the dress with a long black coat.

While the dress and coat combination was simple, she upped the outfit's fashion cred by accessorising with a pair of black ankle boots, a studded wide brimmed hat, square sunglasses and a Proenza Schouler PS Backpack.

The brunette is thought to be up to eight months pregnant, but she looked cool, calm and relaxed.

Of course, Kourtney is a pro at being pregnant at this stage, as with boyfriend Scott Disick she has two other children Mason, 4, and Penelope, 2.

It is lucky she is handling being heavily pregnant so well, as the star is currently driving a car that was not designed with baby bumps in mind.

After their lunch, Kourtney and her pal had to fold themselves into her gull winged Mercedes SLS.

The car used to be partner Scott's but he is suing Mercedes over the car claiming the $190,000 vehicle spends more time in the mechanics than it does on the road.

Scott claimed the car is 'virtually useless' as despite numerous repairs it remained unroadworthy.
