They have been subject to swirling romance rumours for almost a year.

But Winnie Harlow did little to quash the speculation on Thursday, after she was seen heading out on a boat trip with Lewis Hamilton in Mykonos.

The model, who playfully 'fat-shamed' a pal on social media on Wednesday, covered her famously slender frame in skinny jeans, as she spent time in the sunshine with the Formula One driver, who is ten years her senior.

The former America's Next Top Model star seemed unfazed by the heat as she stepped out with Lewis in black skinny jeans and a thick fleece.

Keeping the look casual with a baggy white T-shirt, the jeans then hugged her impossibly long and slender legs all the way down - proving why she may have caught the eye of the racing car driver.

She swept her hair into a chic up-do and accessorised with oversized shades, to draw attention to her enviably glowing skin, as she headed down to a boat with Lewis by her side.

Winnie and Lewis reignited romance rumours when she was spotted caressing his neck at the glamorous amfAR gala during the Cannes Film Festival in May.

At the bash, Winnie was seen wrapping an affectionate arm around Lewis' neck as he whispered into her ear, and even leaned in for a kiss during the dinner.

She was then spotted supporting him track-side at the Monaco Grand Prix the following week.

On again? They were originally linked romantically last year, but Lewis admitted he was 'single' and simply 'focusing on racing' on the Ellen DeGeneres show last October

They were originally linked romantically last year, but the Formula One driver denied they were dating.

Speaking on The Ellen DeGeneres show last October, Lewis admitted he was very much single and choosing to stay 'focused on racing' instead.

Meanwhile, their outing comes just 24 hours after Winnie poked fun at a pal on Instagram, during their trip out on a yacht.

In a playful video posted to the social media site, the 22-year-old model was seen zooming in on her male friend, clad in swim shorts  - which she captioned jokingly: 'Sexy views'.

Continuing their joke amongst their group, Winnie then captured further footage of the holiday-goer using a skipping rope as he relaxed in the sunshine.

When contacted by MailOnline, Winnie's people confirmed the man in question was Lewis Hamilton's uncle - who was posing with his stomach pushed out, as part of a group joke.

The Canadian beauty has always been a keen advocate of body confidence and embracing your natural appearance, having been born with vitiligo - a condition where pale white patches develop on the skin, due to a lack of melanin.

Last year, Winnie revealed to CNN Style she was heavily bullied due to her skin, and was even forced to drop out of high school after being branded with cruel nicknames such as 'cow' and 'zebra'.

However, she explained that leaving her education behind is the best decision she has ever made - as it has taught her to stand up to those who make cruel comments.

She said: 'I learned to love who I am despite what anyone would say about or to me. This gave me the courage to really stand up to anyone or any obstacle in my life.'

While Winnie has found success as a model with the condition however, she still admits the fashion industry and this generation in general have not yet fully embraced those who are 'different'.

She continued: 'I think the industry is opening up but still needs to accept various forms of beauty as a standard, as opposed to an occurrence now and then.

'I want to see different faces on the covers of magazines, the stars of movies, featured on billboards... It's time we open the market up and embrace people from all walks of life.'

Despite her posts on Tuesday, Winnie has also spoken in the past about the dangers of social media, and how easy it is for users to criticise others.

Posting a video of a model with vitiligo covering up her skin in March, she wrote to her 2.3million followers: 'Why shame someone for what makes them happy?'

'We live in a time of social media, where everyone with a keyboard thinks they have the right to a negative opinion or to judge each other when really the best use of our platforms are empathy, understanding & support.

'We all have insecurities, and we are different and yet so much alike.'

However, Winnie has also remained adamant that her skin does not define her - and that she is even 'sick' of discussing her condition in public.

Speaking to Elle Canada last year, she reasoned: 'I am literally just a human. I have the same brain as you; there’s a skeleton under my skin just like yours. It’s not that serious.'

Blasting the idea that she is a 'role model' to young fans, she continued: 'I’m just living life. And if that inspires you, I’m proud, but I’m not going to put pressure on myself to be the best person in the world and tell everyone I have vitiligo.'
