Even the middle child of an A-lister is still the middle child.

Jennifer Garner treated two of her three kids to lunch at Au Fudge on Friday.

The 45-year-old was spotted with 11-year-old Violet and five-year-old Samuel — but eight-year-old Seraphina was nowhere to be found.

Jen was dressed casual for the outing in black sandals and jeans, with a loose fitting black top.

She rocked a pair of shades, and tied her hair back in a bun.

Just like every other photo of her this summer, the actress was all smiles as she emerged with her family after lunch.

The celeb hotspot West Hollywood eatery - tailored specifically towards children - is the brainchild of Jen's Valentine's Day co-star Jessica Biel.

The Miracles From Heaven star has just returned from a working vacation in The Bahamas where she had a speaking event.

She took the kids and her ex Ben on the getaway to the Atlantis Paradise Island resort so her ex could look after the youngsters when she was busy.
