Wacky recipes: Great British Bake Off winner Candice Brown is set to shock fans with a wacky series of cake recipes including courgettes in chocolate cakes and flower flavoured biscuits
Candice, who won the 2016 series watched by nearly 15million, wrote: '"Courgette in a cake?" I hear you say.
'Yes, it works and it works well - adding moisture and depth without compromising any of the rich chocolate/coffee flavours.
Meanwhile hibiscus is one of the ingredients in her madeleine sponge cakes.
The petals from the hibiscus flowers are normally used in tea and are said to be good for lowering cholestoral and a high blood pressure.
Candice's book, called Comfort, also has a twist on the traditional lemon drizzle cake which includes gin.

This isn't the first time Bake Off stars have courted controversy with off-piste recipes.
Mary Berry raised eyes eyebrows when she opted for white wine instead of red in a bolognese recipe.
Paul Hollywood also shocked when he opted to use lambs blood instead of egg whites in a meringue.
Meanwhile, former host Mel Giedroyc has insisted her decision to leave the show following its move to Channel 4 had been a no-brainer.
The TV presenter, 49, has recalled that it took her just 'three seconds' to hang up her boots after being informed it would no longer air on the BBC.
Following seven series fronting the show, both Mel and Sue revealed in a statement that they wouldn't be following The Great British Bake Off over to Channel 4.
Loved: Mel and Sue had been a hit with fans on Bake Off thanks to their witty one-liners and kind-hearted nature towards the show's contestants
Moving on: Like the presenting duo, Mary Berry decided to hang up Bake Off boots and quit the baking competition out of loyalty to the BBC
And sharing an insight into the moment the duo decided to walk away, Mel has told the Press Association it took about 'three seconds' for herself and Sue to make up their minds about their Bake Off future.
'I think there was no question where we were heading, but I miss the gang... we were like a big family.
'All the camera guys, the sound guys, home economists behind the scenes, so knowing a lot of them are there filming as we speak, it feels kind of strange,' she confessed.
Sticking with it: Paul Hollywood (pictured above with Mary) decided to stay the show with, claiming he wasn't ready to give up his job
'Almost bullying': Mel confessed that she and Sue were known for teasing Paul during filming, she said, 'The guy could not open his mouth without one of us wisecracking'
Show judge Mary Berry, 82, had followed suit and her exit from The Great British Bake Off was announced shortly after Mel and Sue's.
Paul Hollywood, meanwhile, decided to stick with the baking competition and revealed during an appearance on The Jonathan Ross Show that he wasn't ready to give up the job he loves so much.
He explained: 'I love doing what I do... I've got a family and I'm just coming to the end of my career I suppose, I'm 50 odd - I haven't got long left. I'm not going to last like Mary... I'll never last, but while it's here, I will carry on doing my job as a judge.'
New lineup: Paul will now judge The Great British Bake Off alongside Prue Leith (far right) while the show will be presented by Sandi Toksvig, 59, and Noel Fielding, 44 (centre)
Knowing that Paul will be back in the tent when Bake Off returns on Channel 4, Mel has said she hopes the show's new presenters Noel Fielding, 44, and Sandi Toksvig, 59, will continue the tradition of poking fun at the baker.
She claimed: 'I'm fascinated to know whether they're going to give him a bit of gyp. I hope so. They really must, it's part of tradition.
Paul will judge the contest alongside chef Prue Leith, 77, who will step in to fill Mary Berry's shoes on the new series.
