Along with director Rian Johnson, the cast collectively unveiled the first behind the scenes video of the making of The Last Jedi.

The teaser was tinged with sadness, as it heavily featured the late Carrie Fisher, who died shortly after filming her scenes as General Leia Organa.

'Rian has written a story that is unexpected but right. Some of the stuff that happens, people are going to go, "oh my God,” Ridley says in the clip.

'Even though everyone knows it’s the second in the trilogy, it feels like it’s own thing,' she continued.

Ridley is shown in several scenes practicing her light saber skills and performing a myriad of stunts.

Adam Driver - who plays the villain Kylo Ren - wears a white tee as he brushes up on his light saber skills as well.

Boyega - who plays Fin - teases the director for not knowing the proper Wookie sound, referring to the character Chewbacca's famous growl.
