Mark Zuckerberg posts first picture with pregnant wife Priscilla following hasty exit from Sun Valley meet-up as moguls fawn over Jared and Ivanka despite Facebook founder earning $3.5B in just five days

  • Mark Zuckerberg shared a photo of himself and pregnant wife Priscilla in Alaska on Facebook on Saturday
  • He posted the image shortly after he left the annual Allen & Company conference just 24 hours after his arrival in Sun Valley
  • It was revealed this week that Zuckerberg made $3.5 billion in just the past five days thanks to a surge in Facebook stock's value
  • Zuckerberg skipped the first three days of the conference, where the media moguls in attendance reportedly lined up to welcome Jared Kushner and Ivanka Trump
  • He posted photos of himself in Montana on Saturday afternoon as he continued his tour of the US, with his current leg of the trip starting to look remarkably similar to the trek made by Lewis and Clark to the Pacific
  • Ivanka and Jared did not attend Saturday sessions at the Allen & Company conference in Sun Valley

Mark Zuckerberg had much cause for celebration on Saturday, and shared his joy with the world by posting his first photo of pregnant wife Priscilla, who is expecting the couple's second child later this year.

'One of my favorite shots on top of a huge healthy glacier in Alaska with a pregnant Priscilla a couple weeks back,' wrote Zuckerberg, who spent the Fourth of July holiday with his wife in Alaska.

Priscilla has posted a few candid shots of herself pregnant on her own Facebook account, but Mark's image is the first official photo of the social network founder and his doctor-philanthropist wife.

The image was posted shortly after Zuckerberg and his wife got some more good news as well, with Forbes reporting that a surge in Facebook stock over the course of the past five days has earned the CEO an additional $3.5 billion, bringing his total wealth to $66.7 billion.

That is an all-time high for Zuckerberg, who at the age of 33 is the sixth richest person on the planet.

The excited father-to-be and titan of tech described above was not on display Friday however, with Zuckerberg carrying himself like Charlie Brown as he arrived in Sun Valley for the annual Allen & Company conference.

Zuckerberg looked tense as he made his debut in Idaho without wife Priscilla, outfitted as always in a simple pair of jeans and gray t-shirt along with some Nikes.

He likely came face-to-face with two people who could not be more different than the self-made billionaire that same afternoon when he attended a session with Ivanka and Jared.

Zuckerberg was not in Sun Valley for long though, as he took off from Idaho after less then 24 hours and posted photos of himself in Montana on Saturday afternoon.

Jared and Ivanka were also seen strolling the campus around the same time as Zuckerberg, looking calm and collected as they walked hand-in-hand and smiled for the cameras.

They made the most of their first two days at the annual Allen & Company conference this week, but on the third day it was also time for them to rest.

The pair were not among the slowly dwindling number of moguls spotted at the Sun Valley Lodge on Saturday for the fourth day of sessions, which oddly enough featured just one session - an talk between former CIA director George Tenet and its current director Mike Pompeo.

Ivanka and Jared jetted to Idaho on Wednesday, making the trip out west despite the fact that the administration is currently under fire for a meeting Don Trump Jr. set up with a shadowy Russian lawyer who promised dirt on Hillary Clinton obtained by the Kremlin.

Their decision to ditch DC despite the fact that Jared was at the controversial meeting has reportedly left a number of White House staffers 'annoyed' according to CNN, and concerned about the fact that the two 'aren't pulling their weight.'

Those same critics may soon become even more fired up when they learn that Jared and Ivanka sat front row for Tom Brokaw's panel at the conference Thursday, which the frequent critic of President Trump called 'A Country Divided.'

It is still unclear how the news of the Russian rendezvous got to the press, but some have been speculating that it could have possibly been Jared, as he had both the email exchanges and was at the meeting.

What's more, the reason the meeting came onto any radars at all was because of Kushner's security clearance process.

Details of that were revealed Friday by Yahoo News - with the crucial detail that it was Kushner's lawyers who discovered the emails.

Although it is unclear exactly when they found them, Kushner updated his security disclosure form on June 21 as a result of the emails.

It emerged Friday that his legal team had told Trump's personal lawyer and the attorney for the Trump Organization three weeks ago about the existence of the emails.

That means he had been reminded recently of their existence and had them at hand.

Jared and Ivanka have been doing their best to sneak in and out of back entrances at the conference, as the two are no doubt eager to avoid the gaggle of reporters, photographers and media members camped out in front of the Sun Valley Lodge.

AWAY THEY GO

March 19: The Trump-Kushners head to Aspen on a week-long family vacation

March 24: The scheduled date of the vote that was expected to repeal Obamacare, which ultimately failed.

April 9: The Trump-Kushners head to Whistler in British Columbia for a week-long vacation.

April 13: President Trump drops the MOAB on Afghanistan, which Jared returns t the White House ahead of while his family stays in Canada.

June 1: President Trump pulls the US out of the Paris Climate Deal during an event at the White House, with Jared and Ivanka unable to attend as they observe Shavout.

The couple would no doubt be pressed to answer questions about the meeting Donald Trump Jr. accepted in June of 2016 with a shadowy Russian lawyer who promised him damaging information about Hillary Clinton that had been obtained by the Kremlin.

And in DC, some are demanding that their security clearances be revoked, with Nancy Pelosi leading the charge.

This is the third family vacation that Jared and Ivanka have taken since entering the White House six months ago, and each time the getaways seem to occur at the same exact time a controversial decision is being handed down by the administration.

The family's vacation to Aspen in March came after President Trump signed an executive order that put his controversial immigration ban into place, and put the family in Colorado for the date of the scheduled vote to repeal Obamacare, which ended up being delayed.

It was the second order he signed regarding the ban, with the first being struck down by the courts after he signed it in January.

In April it was off to Whistler in British Columbia just as news of the White House staff's constant infighting broke, with senior members said to be at odds over how best to run the country.

That trip also put Ivanka and her children up in Canada on the day President Trump dropped the MOAB on Afghanistan.

Ivanka and Jared were also missing in action when President Trump declared her was removing the United States from the Paris Accord on Climate Change, with the First Daughter at home and her husband stuck away in the White House on account of the Jewish holiday of Shavout.

The annual Allen & Company conference has become known as a dealmaker's dream, with some of the media and technology industries' biggest sales taking place in the sleepy Idaho town.

This year could be the most eventful yet on that front thanks to the pro-business policies being touted and put in place by the new commander-in-chief.

Jared and Ivanka headed west early Wednesday morning from their new home in Washington DC.

The couple are reportedly paying their own way to attend the conference as well, and not using any taxpayer money for their flights to and from Idaho or their lodging.

Reports began to roll in that the two had arrived on the scene in the late afternoon on Wednesday, with the two making their way from the nearby airfield to the campus, where they will attend sessions through Sunday with some of America's wealthiest and most well-connected moguls.

It is also a decidedly liberal and Democratic crowd that has gathered, filled with many of President Trump's most vocal opponents.
