He's the Australian model who is known for his hard partying lifestyle and reputation as the 'bad boy of fashion'.

And Jordan Barrett has revealed that he could be looking to make a move into acting and has designs on becoming an 'action hero'.

Speaking to The Daily Front Row, the genetically-blessed hunk revealed he had been taking classes for more than 12 months.

'I'm studying and working with dialect and acting coaches in New York and Los Angeles. It took me about a year to start feeling comfortable, and now I'm really starting to enjoy it,' he admitted.

Revealing that he looked up to late actors Heath Ledger and River Phoenix, Jordan admitted that he saw himself somewhat of an action star.

'I hate comedy. I like psychological thrillers. I wouldn’t mind playing an action hero,' he added.

Jordan, 20, could be looking to join the likes of Channing Tatum, Mark Wahlberg, Tyrese Gibson and Ashton Kutcher who all traded the catwalk for the camera. 

However, if the acting dreams don't pan out, Jordan also revealed that he had a second 'dream profession' to fall back on - South American hotelier.

'When my mum asked me what I wanted to do when I grew up, I would say, "I'm going to be rich and I want to open a hotel",' he said. 'But the hotel I want to open would be more like a very healthy retreat in Costa Rica.

'There's one in Mexico I like that's like a tree house. It doesn't use electricity and they work to save turtles. I want a sanctuary, not a hotel... a bit sanctuary for everyone to come to.'

Jordan also revealed he was currently working on a range of tinted 'fashion goggles' that he planned to launch before New York Fashion Week in September.

The Byron Bay heartthrob, who has been spotted with high-profile female celebrities, was most recently romantically linked to model Bella Hadid.

However, Bella has since denied any romance and clarified they are just friends.
