From the stage to the waves: Katherine Jenkins glides along the river in a gondola for performance at Latitude Festival in an elaborate floral gown

She's normally seen treading the boards.

But Katherine Jenkins traded her standard performance space for the stern of a traditional Cambridge punt on Sunday at day four of Latitude Festival 2017 in Suffolk.

The opera singer, 37, looked angelic as she sailed along, with a gondolier sailing the boat with a long oar, allowing her to concentrate on her performance.

Katherine looked summery and demure in a floor-length gown in a pale green shade with a split down the centre of the chest.

The skirt of the ensemble puffed below the waist and featured a cascading floral detail, in pinks, reds and yellows.

The dress - which was seasonally in-sync with the summertime festival - featured a pleated design to it.

The welsh beauty wore her blonde locks in light waves, and tied them back, adding white baby's breath flowers for extra delicacy.
