A woman has been found guilty of murdering her husband in a crime witnessed only by their pet parrot. Glenna Duram, 49, was convicted of first-degree murder in a Michigan courtroom Wednesday over the death of her husband, 46-year-old Martin Duram. The 49-year-old had been accused of shooting her husband five times, before turning the gun on herself in a failed suicide attempt at their home in Newaygo County. Duram appeared to make a gesture of some sort and mouthed something after the verdict was given. Martin Duram’s pet parrot, Bud, was the only witness to the murder, however he was not called upon during the trial. However, Duram's ex-wife, Christina Keller, who took Bud in after the murder, said the parrot overheard Martin begging for his life before being shot. Keller said Bud repeatedly said, 'Don’t f***ing shoot' while mimicking his former owner's voice, which the ex-wife said was the bird replaying the final words he heard from Martin Duram on the night he was shot. Glenna Duram will be sentenced on August 28 and faces life in prison.

The footage went viral and came to the attention of the Saudi King, who issued an immediate warrant for the Prince Saud bin Abdulaziz bin Musaed bin Saud bin Abdulaziz Al Saud's arrest and imprisoned everyone involved in the verbal and physical attacks. Citizens were left with blood dripping from their mouths and wounds on their faces as the prince appears to wave a gun at the camera and punch a man repeatedly in the head. Prince Saud appears to feature at the beginning and the end of the video, first punching a bloodied man in the head and then sitting in a car waving a gun around. Other clips show citizens being hit in the head, having rifles pointed at them and one shows a group of women being abused.

The attorney general said Thursday that he's not planning to step down from his post, less than a day after the president told reporters he had second thoughts about hiring him in the first place. 'I have the honor of serving as Attorney General. It's something that goes beyond any thought I would have ever had for myself,' he said, appearing with other law enforcement officials at an event to publicize the results of a major international cybercrime investigation. Shocking footage shows the moment one Trump supporter floored a demonstrator after he was hit in the face by the man's large sign during dueling rallies in Hollywood on Saturday. It came after the two men had a confrontation, in which both could be heard shouting 'f*** you' as several onlookers watched. Several protesters broke up the fight after a 72-year-old, named only as Greywolf, was punched by the other demonstrator. The man who punched him was arrested on suspicion of batter. Ben Affleck's girlfriend Lindsay Shookus reunited with her estranged husband on Thursday. Kristen Anderson, 34, was arrested in Phoenix, Arizona on Tuesday after she broke into the home where the girls, aged 12 and 10, were alone. Their father told a 911 dispatcher that the girls had called him on FaceTime to say a woman had crawled through the doggy door into their home. Anderson then allegedly grabbed one of the girls by the arm and threw her against the couch. The girl's sister, who had armed herself with a knife, told police she then stabbed Anderson in the chest. Anderson then allegedly rubbed her blood on herself and one of the girls before they could escape.

A woman has been filmed huffing gas from a canister right after she is believed to have crashed her car. Footage has surfaced online of the unidentified woman sitting in her car with her foot resting on the open driver's side door.   The hood of her silver vehicle appears to be damaged. She was caught on camera repeatedly taking deep breaths and inhaling from the canister. It is not clear what US state the footage was filmed or whether the woman was arrested.

Remarkable pictures show how the Pacific Ocean naval outpost known as Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky-54 has fallen into ruin after being abandoned in 1996 to save money following the fall of the Red flag. Today it has become a hard-to-reach tourist attraction on the Kamchatka peninsula, better known as Russia's Land of Fire and Ice for its volcanoes and glaciers. Also known as Bechevinka and Finval, it is located some 75 miles from regional capital Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky, and is accessible only by sea and helicopter, or snowmobile in winter.

On July 11, Chris Stafford, of Richmond, Texas, took a forceful plunge feet-first into the shallow water when he instantly lost sensation in his legs and felt his neck snap. Chris informed his fiancé Madison that something wasn't right and 911 was immediately called to the scene of the incident. Chris was transported to the Memorial Hermann Hospital in Houston where he underwent several hours of emergency surgery for shattered cervical fractures, according to the family's GoFundMe page.

NEW Mohamed Hadid, 68, will not serve jail time for criminally violating building regulations with the illegal construction of a 30,000 sq ft mega mansion in Bel Air. Hadid had been involved in a long-running legal battle since he bought the hillside plot in 2011 for a shade under $2million. He knocked down the ranch-style house that was already there and started building a monster mansion. By 2014, the house was 9,000 square feet bigger - and 31 feet taller - than regulations allowed.

French President Emmanuel Macron visited Istres air base, near Marseilles, on Thursday where he donned the suit in order to take a ride on a C-135 transport plane amid a funding row. General Pierre de Villiers, the head of the French armed forces, had quit the day before after Macron had tried to push an 850 million euro spending cut on him. Elan Kane decided to get creative during his weekly supermarket trip with his girlfriend Liorah in Chicago and filmed his 'punny' game. He took food from the supermarket shelves as he followed Liorah around the shop, making puns based on the products. ‘Orange-juice glad we aren’t going to get this?’ he asks as he shows her some orange concentrate drink. His girlfriend grins at the first but her expressions soon turn to something more closely resembling resigned boredom. 'Am I appeasing you?' he asks while showing her a bag of frozen peas, at which point she already looks a little tired with the verbal game.

A boy's misstep on a family hike in New Mexico has given the world a prehistoric wonder. Ten-year-old Jude Sparks (pictured main) was on a desert hike in Las Cruces with his brother in November when he tripped over what turned out to be the fossilized tusk of a 1.2 million-year-old elephant-like creature, called a stegomastodon. 'I didn't know what it was,' Sparks told KVIA . 'I just knew it wasn't usual.' The boy's family contacted New Mexico State University professor Peter Houde (top right), and he and a team from the university spent a week digging up the skull (bottom right) in May after getting permission from the landowner. Stegomastodons (center is artist's conception) are not dinosaurs as the elephant-like creatures lived in the last million years or so; dinosaurs died close to 66million yeas ago.

Tiffany Trump took photographs of the scenery at Porto Azzurro on Italy's Isla Elba on Wednesday as the chef on board was taken to hospital in a stretcher after falling ill. She has been holidaying on board Mirage IV with her mother Marla Maples and a group of friends for the past week. The 23-year-old was bare faced on Wednesday morning and was dressed in a pale pink bikini.

Jessie Char from San Francisco thought she had scored superb seats on a JetBlue aircraft when she saw the rest of her row was empty, but soon she declared it like flying 'on the set of a nightmare' after a pair of feet emerged from the row behind. Worse still, according to Char, the left foot proceeded to reach over and 'open the window'.

Terry Cantrell from Georgia says he had put his hands up in surrender (left) when a police officer, Trevor McClure, tackled him to the ground, striking his head against the sidewalk (right). McClure claims to have seen a knife in his hand before the tackle. 'As I quickly closed distance between myself and Mr.Cantrell, I heard Sergeant Troglin yell, "Watch out for that knife", and observed the knife on Mr Cantrell's right hip,' he wrote in his report. 'In order to prevent Mr Cantrell from continuing to flee or attempting to draw his knife, I delivered a shoulder tackle, wrapping my arms around Mr Cantrell's back and took him to the ground.' Cantrell has now sued the City of Ellijay, Ellijay Police Chief Edward Lacey III and Officer Trevor McClure for $1.1 million claiming excessive force.

Siara, the one-year-old Belgian malinois has completed her parachute training along with her handler Technician Carlos Andres Pineros Ramirez of the Colombian Air Force. She is strapped to Ramirez using a special harness which allows her handler to control the jump while enabling him to run when he reaches the ground.

A sweet compilation showcases the adventures of Erin, a four-year-old New York girl, and her English Bulldog, Harvey. The video shows Erin as a baby cuddling the furball, Harvey licking her on the face until she wakes up, the duo eating cake together and of course, going for walks among a host of other interactions. Mom, Katherine Craig, 35, said: 'They really are best friends. Harvey would show some interest in her as a newborn, he would come around and give her a sniff and lick.'

Researchers at the Ithaca College of Physics built a Möbius strip race track loop that can be raced on without ever having to cross an edge. The researchers shot a video of liquid nitrogen racing above and below the race track,using a 'superconductor' magnet as a race car. The superconductor magnet was cooled down with liquid nitrogen, causing it to lose all of its electrical resistance and allowing it to levitate, propelling the superconductor along the racetrack until the liquid nitrogen evaporated and the superconductor warmed up again. Pictured is an image of the magnetic race track strip, with the superconductor racing along it. The track itself was made of plastic to allow for easy manipulation, and then it was coated with magnets.

The man (above) plunged head-first into the concrete in the silly stunt after reportedly drinking all day at a resort in Turkey. Footage caught by an onlooker on a smartphone shows the man, wearing nothing but a pair of speedos, showing off to the camera by climbing up the flimsy plastic slide meant for small children. He stood on a roof over the top of the slide, performing to the small crowd and shouting 'Belarus! Belarus! Belarus!' in homage to what is believed to be his home nation. But as he tried to get his balance the slide can be seen shaking.

Mark Orsillo, 34, was left devastated after losing the majority of his 300 prized DVDs and videos when a fire destroyed his family's home in Oroville, California earlier this month. His sister put out a call on Facebook asking for donations to replace the movies he had lost. She was only expecting to receive a few, but was quickly inundated with about 400 films. She surprised Mark with the new collection last week and managed to capture his reaction on camera. 'I'm in movie heaven,' Mark screamed ecstatically after seeing the movies.

Professional musician Bronkar Lee posted a cute clip on Facebook of his impressive beatboxing session for his son Elijah.The 19-month-year-old can't wait for his dad to break into song and waves his arms in anticipation as Bronkar prepares. Elijah moves his head from side-to-side and moves his body as the beat starts, clearly enjoying his dad's impression of a drum machine. As Bronkar, who has taught beat boxing overseas, draws an abrupt halt to the beat the baby stops bopping his head and turns to his father, appearing to ask for more.

The moment some tourists north of the border got a little too close to a black bear in the Canadian wild has been captured on camera. The visitors were checking out the sights from the safety of their car near Alberta on June 18 when they came across the bear. The video starts by showing the bear loitering to the side of the car, about 10 feet off to the side (left). Seconds later, it springs into action and strides towards the vehicle (middle) before preparing to launch into the air towards the now-terrified tourists. The person behind the camera then turns away from the bear and smartly winds the window up. A few seconds later, the frightened foreigner turns the camera back out to the bear, with the animal seen walking back towards its home among the trees (right).

A good Samaritan nearly got a nasty bite from a raccoon he was trying free back into the wild. The video, uploaded to YouTube, shows two closed plastic boxes each containing a furball placed on the ground in seemingly rural area at night.
